Hi , is there anything new with this project ?.

Got it mounted - fits great.  The slave is supposed to be here this week.  Then I can measure for the length of hydraulic line and get that ordered from Spiegler. I'll post picts when the slave is here

OK I've edited it to be unlisted and that seems to have done the trick...I think? 🤔

Ok. First oh all I laughed my ass off because of the drastic differences in what appears to be a very similar test. All that comes to mind here is the fact that your toilets flush in a completely different direction than mine. The Simpsons tonight me that. Anyone else here with a theory.

@coachluciano - Thanks for that.  Here's my experience with the OEM rear seat rubbers.  Mt-09 Tracer 2015

P.S. How do you post a You Tube video like you did?  I can only produce a link. TIA

@dazzler24 Your video is tagged as private. Not sure why.  All I did was upload to my rarely used YouTube channel. Then said I want to share, and “Copy Link” was an option. Copied and then pasted into our forum.

I found that delivering a good hard backwards-oriented blow into the front face of the pillion seat, at an angle of 44 deg to 46 deg approx, pushes in into the lock/ latch and it is then very firmly secured.   I haven't felt the need to fiddle with the rubber bumpers at all.   Enjoy the seat!

Oddly enough I had no issues with Bagster feet, other than the gap it created someone here pointed out to me. Then my ADD kicked in. Moving to Yamahas feet for me was only for esthetics and to calm my ADD.

So far like a glove. I have the slave coming hopefully this wee, then I can measure and order a customer made hydraulic line. As you can see it fits the well with the stock control module next to it. This Brembo does not come with a switch, unlike the matching brake master cylinder. Still stewing on my three options there.

I believe I may be the first person to attempt to add this Brembo. I know Magura are all over the place (love that company, have Magura on my Scalple) but no one has fitted RCS 19 this to my knowledge.

How does this master cylinder adapt to our bikes?  The ones I saw online say they are only for bikes that currently have a hydraulic clutch.

@coachluciano - Just out of interest, what's the number that's written on the sticker under your Bagster seat?

Mine is - 120719NL0447/80 -5355Z.  I think the last bit 5355Z is the important part.  I think, and I say think, the other numbers may refer to the configuration of the individual seat.  Happy to be corrected on that score if not the case.

P.S. both seats have the same number on mine.

@dazzler24 230919NL0447/98-5355Z.  Fits like a glove with the feet swap from stock. Both front and rear.

Only trouble with doing that is that the whole seat then wobbles around if you rock it from side to side.  At least it did for me when I tried that.  YMMV.

Not at all in my case. I’m talking about the rear seat by the way. That was the gap issue. Absolutely no issues with the front straight out of the box. Add to that, the stock Bagster rubber feet are the weak link in this seat. They don’t fit well in the holes that secure them and have a lot of wobble. That all went away when I swapped with my stock feet. The materials used in the feet are noticeably different and the Bagster is much harder. Not complaining by any means. Just observing what I see.

Well this is unfortunate... I was planning to order one for my '15. Did the front seat fit properly?

That’s the ticket. Just swap the feet of the original seat like I just did and not only does it fit better but no jostling to get it to snap in. Went on like butter. Someone tell Bagster there feet are to big. Big feet, if meat, I know. But not in this case. They were visibly different when the pan was identical to stock.

Time for forced induction with smaller sized engines... we already got a turbo kits for the CP2, CP3 and CP4 motors...even starting to have the kits run on e85, can you imagine the lil ole CP2 putting down 145whp/100tq on e85 🤪( granted it needs bigger 650cc injectors, aftermarket springs/rods/valves, HD clutch springs, ARP stud kit and ceramic coated pistons)...

Curse you @norcal616 - I didn't need to know that I can put a Turbo on my FJ.  Now I won't sleep.

Looking at the parts list: I see 3 different part numbers for the passenger seat...

    FJ-09- 2PP-247OH-00-00

    TRACER- B5C-24750-00-P0

    GT- B5C-247OH-10-00

well I can tell you I have the Tracer seat on my FJ for what that's worth.  Did the seat configurations change on these models??  Those are pretty drastic park number differences - I was think stitching would be a possible difference.

@coachluciano glad to hear you are happy with the seat and the master cylinder. Did you have to order a special set of lines from spiegler or did you use the stock 900GT line set they offer, and who did you get them from? I have to get my ducks in a row before I put the GT away for the winter and pull out the KLR.

Just ordered the standard FJ-09 lines - Stoltec in PA - https://stoltecmoto.com/.  99.9% sure the main line down to the ABS manifold will work without issue from Spiegler.  I have the stock lines on there now.  I did need to "release" some slack from the line to the manifold to get it to fit, but nothing to cause alarm.  and the Spiegler lines give some flexibility on grommet location which will help with the main line.

@coachluciano Now go out for a ride.I don't care how cold it is, I want a ride report.  My seat has been showing in transit for the last 5 days and i'm like a little rugrat waiting for Christmas morning!  On another subject the spacers are done and I should be able to pick them up in the next couple of days, as soon as it warms up outside so I don't freeze my ass off.😉

@roadrash83 Did that very thing Sunday.  Temps hit 48 and had a small opp to test not only the Bagster seat, but my Brembo master cylinder.  Also had to get the STA-BIL mixed.  Seat was exactly what I was looking for as far as fit and esthetics ( i too have a small gap under the rear as pointed out earlier today, but nothing that jumped out at me as odd.  Got's to find someone to buy my Sargent now.  The brake was awesome, not enough time to remotely give it a through test, but "no" comparison to stock.  Spiegler lines coming tomorrow and hopefully complete this mod with the 320mm conversion.  Yesterday we got 12" of snow and today it was 14deg F and salt everywhere - season in NY is officially over...

2015 only has on or off, no other TC settings as the later models do

If the TC light is on 24/7 it means its OFF...no TC light means its ON and if it flashes when riding it means it got triggered...

if you want to turn it off - hold the button in for 2 seconds - the TC will light up and stay lite.  Bike has to be stationary (i believe) when turning on an off

  15. Mounted this beauty. Brembo Corsa Corta master cylinder. Found the mirror perch that was missing @betoney from the original and it all came together really nice. Reporting on this will be difficult. “Winter is Here”.  Sitting on my new “Bagster” @wordsmith on the center stand in cold garage, brakes feel great.  Seat feels even better. @texscottyd ride safe tomorrow. It’s only 41 here in NY.
