  1. I think the Vinyl Wrap is a good idea and probably more durable than the Plasti-Dip I was thinking about would be. If it needs redone just redo it, pretty simple.
  2. Wasn't planning on removing them. Probably remove the fender and then tape everything else off. Or maybe just leave them the hell alone. Just not a fan of the Gold.
  3. Not a fan of the Gold Forks, anyone paint them? I have some Flat Black Plasti-Dip paint I thought I would try and see if I like the look. If I don't like it then I can peel it off. But if I do like it maybe more of a permanent solution. Thoughts? Anyone do this?
  4. Any idea what kind of LED Flasher relay we will need if any?
  5. You can actually source the parts for this upgrade for under $60 for everything. TST Industries sells the wiring harness and adapter plates. With shipping these items were $35. Then pick up the LED Turn signals of your choice off EBAY or Amazon for under $20 for all 4. Some of these kits are priced ridiculous. I will let you know the final result with pics but there's no way I'm going to sink $200 + into this upgrade.
  6. I wouldn't mind just having some clear lenses but I'm guessing that's not an option.
  7. Looking to replace the Stock Pumpkin turn signals on my 2020 GT. What are you guys using?
  8. I have not noticed this with the Beak. But I rarely do any sustained speeds at 100 mph.
  9. I felt bad paying $2.34 today for 91 non ethanol, guess I got a good deal. 87 octane is $1.65 here
  10. Harley Davidson is the King of adding little tidbits every year to entice you to trade. Been there done it. One of the reasons I left the brand. They went from a 96" to 103" to 107" motor on their touring bikes within just a few short years. I will say their 103" motor I had in my 2011 Road King Classic was the best. Never rode the 107" bikes. Seems Yamaha is taking on the HD point of view. Give them what they want this year then add a little more each year to sell bikes. It's a vicious cycle if you let yourself get caught up in it. Nothing about the new Tracer makes me want to trade my 2020 GT. The color schemes alone are enough to make me keep my bike. Blue wheels? What idiot thought that was a good idea?
  11. I wouldn't have bought a Tracer GT at the $15k price, I don't think that's a bargain in any way shape or form. But at $13k for my 2020 GT I'm quite content with the bike and value for the $$. Sure I upgraded my seat but that would have been the case with any bike. And those new colors do nothing for me. Those blue wheels are hideous and the saddlebags look out of place compared to the 2020 FJR Bags.
  12. It would be a no go for me. Way too expensive and my 2020 GT is fine just the way it is. Plus, I don't want the bike any louder than it is.
  13. Installed the Puig Beak today, I like it
  14. I have always been reluctant to buy first year of anything. Hopefully the new motor is as bullet proof as the old.
  15. If those pics are the real deal I'm sure glad I bought a 2020
  16. I ordered it last Friday 10/23 before their shipping deadline and received it Monday 10/26 around 7:00 PM FedEx. Unbelievable, from the Netherlands to Kansas .
  17. Installed tonight, seat looks great. Time will tell how comfy it is. Crappy weather here
  18. Seat actually showed up yesterday. I will get it put on tonight. Weather here in Eastern Kansas sucks right now so not sure if I will get a ride in before Spring or not. From what I can tell the build and seat quality is incredible. Looks very professional. Time will tell how comfortable it is.
  19. There can be a big difference on how filters seal and how much to tighten them. Typically hand tight but not always the case. For example a lot of Suzuki OEM filters use a round o-ring type gasket where a replacement Wix uses a flat gasket. Follow the filters manufacturers specs on tightening them. The Suzuki filter gets tightened much more because of the round o-ring vs the flat gasket on the Wix. And no, I have never had a filter failure. OEM filters are not made by Yamaha, typically low bidder gets the gig.
  20. Got the Bagster seat today FedEX. Haven't installed yet but it looks fantastic. Ordered Friday from the Netherlands and receive in Kansas today. Must have been a nonstop flight.
  21. Seat cleared US Customs in Memphis should be here by Thursday
  22. You barely raise that tank and it starts flexing that plastic on the side on a 2020 Tracer GT.
  23. So I looked at doing this today and it's a no go for me. As soon as you start to lift up on the rear of the tank it starts to pull away and distort the side plastic pieces and creates an unsightly gap between the bottom of the tank and these side plastic pieces. I'm gonna wait and see how the new Bagster seat works by itself.
  24. What thickness and diameter washers are you guys using?
