  1. Ahh yes, the old hack job. No thanks. Some folks should just stay away from wiring.
  2. Agreed, why butcher up a brand new bike when you can buy the right connector and make it look nice and professional
  3. I ordered the Bagster Seat today with the Bultex Foam. For under $400 at ChromeBurner it seemed like a bargain. Might have to do the seat slope mod also in conjunction with the new seat. 4. Did you buy the one with the bultex foam? There is no way the stock seat is hard spray in foam.
  5. Yep, I have never had a stock seat hurt my ass so bad as this one does. I wonder if it's partly the angle. But I'm 6' 230 and I barely compress this seat at all. It would be impossible to do a full day on this seat. A couple hours max and I'm hurtin.
  6. Isn't their an adjustment for the clutch cable at the motor also if you have no adjustment left at the lever?
  7. That stock seat is a killer for me. My ass hurt so bad after a 2 hour ride I could hardly walk. Appreciate the info Thanks
  8. Thinking of getting the Bagster seat. Those of you that have one what do you think? I'm thinking of getting this one Bagster Ready Luxe Yamaha MT-09 Tracer 900 GT 2018-2019 Black Woven Suede Red Bultex Seat - ChromeBurner A Bagster seat is a big improvement in both style and comfort for... 9. 15 pounds? That's a heavy windshield 😁
  10. I guess I'm an Old wife. Do what works for you
  11. I'm not sure I would do Full Synthetic at 600 miles. I did my first oil change with Yamalube at 200 miles and will probably wait until at least 1k miles to go full synthetic. I know, I know, another oil discussion.
  12. I bought these Yamaha FJR1300 Saddlebag Sideliners Side Case Trunk Liners Bags,Balck - Pair Got them yesterday. They fit perfect and are very well made. They say FJR on them but I don't care, needed something and these are high quality at a great price.
  13. I'm 6' and have the Puig, it works quite well. Hands down better than the stocker
  14. I like the functionality of the Madstad but I was concerned with all that weight hanging on the stock bracket so I went with the Puig. Plenty of air gets around this windshield either in the full down or full up position there is no buffeting.
  15. What size Airhawk are you guys using, the small? 11x11 I think it is
  16. Nope, I'm pretty sure it sucks. Let's see some pics of that sheep skin, I'm curious how it looks
  17. That stock seat is pretty much a POS anyway for any amount of time in the saddle at all. About 150 miles today and my ass was numb. I may try an Airhawk to see if that helps.
  18. Here is one in Kansas for $11,999. May be worth the trip to save a grand. I have dealt with this dealer for years and they are fantastic. But call them first and see what other fee's they may have on top of that price. Usually that's the price but make sure. Hard to find any bike these days under MSRP. 19. I would say for the masses the Tracer GT is a formidable bike right out of the box. At 6' 230 I honestly don't notice any suspension issues what so ever. And for the money you can't go wrong. Why speculate on something you don't even own?
  20. Yep, that's all you need. No need to complicate it with fancy cleaners.
  21. WIX goes on everything I own. Not the cheapest but it is quality
  22. With the PUIG there is a slight recurve at the top that pushes the air right over your helmet
  23. I have the PUIG and have no stability issues. it works well for me at 6'
