  1. Yeah @betoney sent that earlier. I would prefer to have the ball centered so the GPS isn’t cantilevered to one side. However, I might end up going that route.
  2. Thanks. I did shoot the seller a message and am waiting for a response.
  3. Hello fellow riders. Sorry if this has been covered in a previous thread. I just recently purchased the TomTom Rider 550 GPS and it came with the RAM handlebar / brake reservoir mount. Went for a nice ride today and it works great but would much prefer to have it mounted in such a way that it's more in my line of site. Has anybody seen a solution for mounting the Rider 550 above the existing instrument cluster? Preferably an off the shelf unit, because I'm not really setup for crafting my own. Also, I might add that I'm using an MRA touring screen currently but would like to use the sport screen during warmer weather. Any and all feedback welcomed. Thanks, WJ
  4. Yeah, looked it up on the Japanese site and it says it’s not compatible with the RH pannier. Deal breaker for me. 🙁
  5. Note : RH pannier case is not compatible. Yoshimura product site : MT-09(14-19)/MT-09 TRACER(15-17)/XSR900(16-19)/TRACER900/GT(18-19) - FULL SYSTEM R-77S / STREET SPORTS
  6. Thanks. I wonder if you could still wear the panniers with it?
  7. I’ve been wrenching on bikes and other for quite a bit and have what I think is a good feel for how tight a fastener should be, but with wheels, calipers and the like I get a little paranoid. Thanks for the response. You all are great.
  8. Hi brain trust, I have another question, The manual calls for 111 lb/ft for the torque of the rear axle nut. I’ve read on here that peeps are saying that’s excessive. What is the consensus on the minimum safe torque value. Not a fan of having wheels fall off. Although the rear would be better than the front I’d suspect.
  9. Because the bike is pretty new and I’m lazy
  10. I just bought these last night. Did I get the wrong ones? EBC FA252HH Double-H Sintered Front Brake Pads
  11. I love you guys. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Thanks!
  12. Hi brain trust, I have a question, Is it really required to bleed the brakes when installing new pads in the front? I have the shop manual and it says to open the bleeders and drain into a vessel. I understand the concept of brakes. Can’t I just push the pistons back with my fingers?
  13. Boots aren't new, they're just big clunky adventure boots.
  14. This happens to me frequently, both using the auto shifter and clutch. In my situation it appears to be from my big toed (sp) boots. I have to make sure I make a conscious decision to make sure the shifter has been released by flexing my ankle / foot down. I have adjusted the shift knob, but may need to go a bit further. I hope that all makes sense.
  15. Installed mine yesterday day. This is normal, right? https://share.icloud.com/photos/02mq1uXeywIZVPWj1LxMYlfJA#Home
  16. You got it! I’ve used that username a few places and you’re the only one that’s gotten it. 👍
