Exactly!  New 17” Dymags for the XR…  sorry that wasn’t particularly clear @Ride365.   I’m leaving them mostly wrapped up and protected until I get the chance to mount them, so more complete photos will be coming later.    

They are REALLY sexy, however, and light… 😀

This phase of the XR project is just about complete, and I’m really happy with the results.  With the lightweight Dymags, the bike seriously feels 100 pounds lighter on the move, and those are ‘Hand of God’ brakes.  

It still has the agricultural charm, but now is a bit more focused around my personal preferences    Good times

It’s still a bit porky… I would guess somewhere around 550 - 560 pounds, although I haven’t weighed it to get a definitive number.   The Dymag wheels are very light compared to the stock items, and the reduction in unsprung rotating mass is eye-opening:   It feel like a totally different bike when ridden with some enthusiasm.
