Headgas
Hey so the stock mirrors have been unusable for me. I can't see behind me no matter how I adjust them. Is there other mirrors that will actually work?
robzilla
What year/model bike? Have you looked at mirror extensions?

robzilla
Here the 2" extensions I used. That extra works to see the back of my top case or when nothing mounted, the rack and any vehicle traffic. https://www.koubalinks.com/extended-fuel-screws-mirror/2-mirror-extensions Got it from this recommendation after seeing it on this other guy's T9GT. You can see it briefly in the background on his video.

ZigMerid
18 hours ago, robzilla said: Here the 2" extensions I used Yep. Made a big difference to my '23. I can now see past my shoulders and top box. Recommended. They are also cheap and easy to install, so it's an easy experiment to try instead of looking for relatively expensive alternatives which may not offer much difference from the originals.
Ivan C
I removed the handguards and stalk mirrors from my '19 and added bar end mirrors (CRG Arrows). Required a bar end adapter that I sourced from RhinoMoto (https://rhinomoto.com/product-category/yamaha-bar-ends/), but now I can see behind me and the quality of the CRGs is way better than stock. The Cheese
I used the ones linked below. I had to turn down the area where the threads ended as there was no thread relief. It fowled on the mirror perch. Helped with seeing more than my shoulders. Added a bit of blurriness to the mirrors. Not really sold if it's an upgrade or not. https://www.ebay.com/itm/254555601399
