tomy
Have Puig Touring screen for 28000km. After last trip 5000km, have some crack around screw. Riding was in hard conditions- heavy side winds, passing in side winds and speeds 140-200kmph. So it all made some effects on the screen. Not sure if it is save to use it so planning to change it. I am 192cm, seat(Sargent) high position, screen high position as well. But have only good experience using this screen. In hot weather it is not ok. But reduced buffeting makes it perfect for me. So I am planning to buy the same screen for replacement. Just have not decided clear or light smoke. Screen should be thicker as it bents too much in high speed. I will make some research in the comments before buying but wanted to share my experience. Attached also pictures. Not native English speaking so I am sorry for mistakes. chitown
That's a bummer. Mine has similar amount of total mileage but I'm rarely above 160 kph on the road... can see it would get pretty stressed at 200 kph. Would probably look for something thicker at those speeds. tomy
Actually those speeds are not very common for me. Just wanted to cover 2000km plus is two days. As some distances had speed limits about 90kmph I had to ride fast on highways where I could. Riding close to 200kmph screen is very bent and doesn't look very safe..
