bwringer Posted June 2, 2021 Share Posted June 2, 2021 Just received my Seat Concepts kit today, exactly 11 weeks after ordering. 😖 Mine has the other type of cover; I did NOT want the sticky stuff. The whole thing is covered in that sorta carbon fiber-ish stuff you see on the edges of the previous one. I need to be able to slide around during rapid riding. The seat that's on the bike currently is a stock seat that was modified with a few layers of added and sculpted foam by some unknown person. When I changed the horrible cover vinyl, it appeared to be a pretty professional job, and indeed the seat is pretty darn comfy. I bought a second, new stock seat from the local Yamaha emporium, and I'll be installing the SC kit on that pan, discarding the stock torture foam and cover.
