Premium Member duhg Posted January 29, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted January 29, 2020 With a running start! No, seriously. When The side cases are on the bike I turn the bars to the right and use the foot peg as if it were a stirrup. The side cases interfere with my leg swing. I'd prefer that the pillion seat were lower, as it is also a bit of an obstacle for me. 1 https://ridemsta.com/oh-tmr/ Riding makes me happy. Hi duhg This is exactly the same problem I have when the side cases are fitted especially having shorter legs, bit more sure footed now having fitted the adventure pegs as well
chitown
29" inseam, right knee replaced. When there's no luggage on the rear seat I swing it over and when there is just raise it up and over. Never got into using the peg or riding off center stand but have known a few riders not much over 5' tall that were well-practiced at both. Bimbim18
5'5" , 28" inseam. I use the foot pegs. Not bad one you get used to it. I can barely tippy toe when I stop. I refuse to lower it 😛🥰. I often have a 175 lb. Passenger too. Never have any issues. I do have to stretch those hips once in a while though. Getting my legs over those side cases feel like a gymnastics routine sometimes.
draco_1967
Even with a 32" inseam, I have to use the left foot peg when I have a bag on the back seat.
