Exaust systems

Recommended Posts

Scorpion serket.... The red circle is just a slim ring push fitted into can. Easy to remove and paint with heat proof paint, or black BBQ spray.  Didn't notice any power gains, maybe a touch sharper, but what a great sounding bike now. No need for full system unless you've got money to burn.

@Tripletrouble, did you see my post on drilling some holes in the baffle?

I'll find it again. To be fair, I have enough power as it is, stock exhaust looked great but sounded like a sewing machine. I think a couple of hp for me is fairly irrelevant. It's not the amount of noise, just something deeper.

Here you go. Drilling seems to make the overall throttle response smoother as the exhaust breathes easier.

I drilled out my baffle and it seemed to smooth out the throttle as well.

Yeah, I was skeptical but it really seems to work well.

I've never been a fan of full systems. I put on an M4 slip on as supplied by 2 Wheel Dyno Works. The little puppy rips and sounds amazing with the Fjs motor.

Nice one , I ended up getting a black widow full system put on with a 300mm oval can on it ,it sounds real nice ... now I'm gonna put on the o2 sensor eliminater if I can find out how to get yo it
