  2. Seems you've become famous on the interwebs Holy crap! It's trending on Reddit!
  3. Yes no helmet is legal here but only Harley guys do it. Hospital confirmed that helmet probably would have saved his life, massive head trauma.
  4. Well, I tried to leave a hint about posting actual links so others can get the same deal. Pics are pretty and all, but where did you get these items?
  5. Where did yo get it? Did you find a good price that you would be willing to share so others can get one too? For instance, I wear a KLIM APEX Jacket. You can get em at Revzilla here It's $799 and worth every penny. When the moment comes that I'm flying thru the air. it's the protective jacket that I want to be wearing. It's also the only true waterproof motorcycle jacket that I have ever owned, all others failed me in downpours. Not the Apex though. For hot 90 degree F plus days I'm about to order a Klim Apex Air jacket. Not quite as protective but still very sturdy . Revzilla Klim Apex Air
  6. i just got this $829 Schuberth C3 Pro observer helmet for $450 on sale from Revzilla. it's the quietest helmet I have ever owned and i am loving it. I wouldn have bought it for $829 but at $450 it's a good sale. Comfy and really quiet. Great to ride in. https://images.viglink.com/product/250x250/www-revzilla-com/6a33c081c31d99a1506aa026d001b63cdc15222b.jpg?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.revzilla.com%2Fproduct_images%2F0273%2F4001%2Fschuberth_c3_pro_observer_helmet_yellow_detail.jpg
  7. Got my Schuberth C-3 Pro observer helmet in mail today. Fits great and is the quietest helmet I have erv freakin owned. Love this thing! Its on sale at Revzilla for $450.00 , it's usually $829 dollars so i snagged it up before they sold out! https://images.viglink.com/product/250x250/www-revzilla-com/6a33c081c31d99a1506aa026d001b63cdc15222b.jpg?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.revzilla.com%2Fproduct_images%2F0273%2F4001%2Fschuberth_c3_pro_observer_helmet_yellow_detail.jpg
  8. I suspect that the FJ-09 will end up getting factory cruise control very soon. If not 2018, then it's got to be included by 2019. It's a ride by wire throttle, with an ecu. It is not hard, and really shouldn't be that expensive to include on the FJ-09. The FZ-09 and FZ-07 have had redesigns already. The FJ-09 redesign should be next and I expect Cruise Control on that redesign. Then, that cruise kit should be offered by Yamaha for older FJ-09's. This is why Flashtunes is not offering a Cruise Control option, as they know that it is coming soon from Yamaha. And then all the money they dump into cruise R&D would be wasted. When Joe at Brandon Distributing went out of business last fall, I looked into getting the USA license for the Cruise Control Module from the company in Taiwan. They wanted alot of money, and the thing that stopped me from doing it is the fact that I expect Yamaha to come out with their own soon, and then I would end up holding a bunch of expensive cruise control modules. I would wait guys. I'd hate to see someone pay $400-$500 and then have Yamaha release one for $250 that works better with a custom fit button.
  9. I just got off the phone with Nels from @2wheeldynoworks. He has been looking at the tuneboy stuff. After looking at the Tuneboy flash files that were loaded on one of his customer's bikes, he did not have good things to say about the flash files. I won't go into details (I don't want to get sued) but i invite you to call Nels at (425) 269-5332 and ask for yourself before ordering this kit from Tuneboy. I advise caution here guys.
  10. Got a link? Link are very important, so others can buy too!
  11. This exhaust is on Ebay for $989.00 Click Here
  12. Thanks for the kind words. Turns out he was indeed just riding to the local store for a pack of smokes. the guy in the car behind him saw what happened and tried to help him until the paramedics arrived. He hit some gravel going around a corner at a very slow speed and lost control in the gravel. Massive head trauma from striking his head against a tree. Died in the ambulance and he could not be resuscitated. All because he decided not to wear his helmet on a short ride to the store. RIP Jim.
  13. Well, i just lost another friend in a motorcycle accident. No helmet, les than a mile from his house. I now have to go to his house and help his wife tell his kids. Just how in the hell do I do that? He is their hero. Their rock. Their only financial source, his oldest boy is disabled and the mom cannot handle him on her own. Here is a blanket statement. If you ride without a helmet and you have family, you are a phucking idiot. It's selfish and the life you ruin isn't yours, it's your families lives that are ruined. Get damn good gear. There are deals galore in this very thread, so you have no excuse. Good cold weather gear. Good warm weather gear. Don't be an idiot. Wear good gear or park your bike until you can afford it.
  14. No, I just retested all three, and it took me right to bike bandit. What site did you see??

  18. Thank you for sharing your heart warming story about you and your wife. Man, great job being a good husband and best friend to your wife and for keeping her on two wheels. I'm sure that it meant alot to her to feel normal and free on the back of the bike. I'm sorry that you lost her, and hope that your personal recovery from all of this goes well. Ya know, whenever you are on that bike, she will still be with you.
  19. To post something for sale in here posts pics, price, location. No craigslist crap please. This is usually standard rules for any bike forum.
  20. Maybe it has something to do with this - https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/4052626/Rostra_Precision_Controls# Can anyone dig deeper? That court case was in 2014 and was dropped. I don't think it has any bearing on Joe closing up shop. I heard in October that he was ill and then I haven't heard anything from him at all. My guess is either he is very ill or dead. They won't return my calls or emails so your guess is as good As mine but last I heard, he was having health issues.
  21. OMG... you are right! This is bull shet! Who are the nanny police. I would REALLY like to know who did this and WTF!!! I'm really disappointed in this forum!!!!!!! @brick Oh I'm sorry your free experience on this forum, and the hundreds of dollars and hours that I put into this place ea year is so disappointing. I'm sure if this company decided to sue me for telling the world not to buy their products in google search results for 5-10 years from now, you would grab your check book and pay my legal fees then, right?
  22. OMG... you are right! This is bull shet! Who are the nanny police. I would REALLY like to know who did this and WTF!!! I'm really disappointed in this forum!!!!!!! I changed it from "Do not buy" to "issues with". The reason you are surprised is because I hardly ever edit a post or title. But in this case I decided to. These posts show up in google search results and as the owner of this forum, I felt that tanking this companies online PR for years of search results was a bit too extreme. This company will make things right if you actually talk to them.
