  1. I have my Skene controller wired for 20% low beam(yellow not connected). I have tried to manually adjust the power, but I think the Tracer wiring does not allow programming with the HB switch. I have the HB trace going through a relay to power and also a wire from the relay (87) to White wire.
  2. With the latch handle lifted, relock the latch and the key will come out. So the locking tab is now above the lifting handle. I do this when washing the bike with panniers off.
  3. I have a Skene controller on my spotlights. This makes them running lights with low beam and spotlights with high beam. I have them switched from the rear of the headlight controller at the base of the lights.
  4. I think the pivot bolt on the lever is binding, too tight.
  5. I got mine off Aliexpress. Pannier Liner For YAMAHA TRACER 900GT 2018 2019 Saddle Bag TDM 900 Saddle Bags luggage bags Black For Pannier Liner FJR 1300 26L| | - AliExpress ...
  6. I have a Kappa/Givi screen and a deflector on top, the faster you go, the bigger the still air bubble.
  7. Wordy, you need to get with the FaceBook kiddies. MT09 Australia will tell you all you need from the owners. BTW, a fellow rider I know had a Nine T, and sold it for a Tracer. First run was the Silo ride, and it had to be shipped down from Townsville.
  8. That pic in Death Valley (I think) of the very straight rd, that goes on for miles, is like what I was riding on the Silo Run. One leg on Saturday was 303 Klm of very few bends, and no corners to speak of, and all at 160+ kph.
  9. Look at the plate in the silo pics, it is quite small. Camera lens trick with the tyre shot.
  10. That is how it went when we discovered it, two days of fast straight roads and the last 100k's were twisty. Took the wheel off when I got home, and it went flat overnight.
  11. In Australia, artists are painting the outback grain silos, went and had a look at two of them.
  12. At work in the 70's (military), I had a Honda 500/4, and someone put iron filings in the oil filler. Must have really pissed someone off. Another bike in the area had his shocks reset to hard' and the other soft.
  13. Send them a message and see what happens..
  14. Just get it from the Manufacturer, save a lot of hassles I think. Yamaha MT09 Tracer (2015-) Luggage Carrier/Top Box Rack in Black | Renntec ...
  15. From my understanding that is what happens. My Rego Office is in a shopping centre and has desk staff only.
  16. Well look what has turned up on Gumtree. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/madeley/motorcycle-scooter-parts/yamaha-mt09-parts/1254238124
  17. Most of the Facebook forums for the local brissy area seem to go with the footpeg removal, even to the extent of not being enforced by the Police. Your choice I suppose. If anyone gets flustered, just remove the rear seat and ride home. Done a run to Lesley Dam and Leyburn today, bloody freezing, but very fast.
  18. Most locals just do the footpegs and leave the seat alone. The paperwork is all you have to show at the rego office.
  19. Same here, I bought a Sony RX100 to fit in my pocket. 1" sensor and a good zoom rang plus RAW format.
  20. To fit the Duct Tape in a smaller area, wrap a couple of feet off the roll around a pencil, fits a lot better.
