  1. I found, and a few others, that the pipe is a tad restrictive at high rpm's. I drilled a few extra holes in the baffle to fix this problem.
  2. I am going to get rid of the Tracer for that reason, when on it, I go from age 66 to 22 . Seriously looking at a Guzzi adventure sled.
  3. I ordered the smoke one and got a clear one, complained, got it for free as the supplier couldn't guarantee that I could get a smoke one .
  4. I have the two mount version and it works extremely well on a larger screen. FYI, if you get one of these, you have to glue the adjusters after finding the right angle.
  5. @betoney, both actually. Looking for something that might not kill me, 66 going on 22 on the Tracer.
  6. @Rex_4321, I have a 15 and done most things to it, as you have. The exhaust I went with was the Scorpion slip on, just cut the headers. Seat is a French 'top sellerie'. ECU flash is a 'Kevin Hope" one from Brisbane, excellent results for choppy throttle and a few other things. I have 66k klm and the bike is going in for fresh springs (both ends) and valves soon as they get here from England. LED indicators, I just replaced the bulbs with LED ones and a new flasher unit. Highly recommend getting the 'Plug and Play' TST Industries brake flasher unit. I also had high engine bars like yours, but in a drop, the lower casings hit the ground first. So went for full frames. Imgur ... Enjoy your ride.
  7. Quick ride today to have a look at a Moto Guzzi V85TT, very nice. Imgur ...
  8. I use a two man tent, works really well for rallies. My tent is similar to this and has the floor out front. Coleman Traveller 3P Dome Tent - Tentworld ...
  9. My phone GPS does the same when extremely hot, usually starts again once moving.
  10. I have the two mount version and it works extremely well on a larger screen. FYI, if you get one of these, you have to glue the adjusters after finding the right angle.
  11. It's a triple, not a twin. The twin feel is the firing interval.
  12. Had a look at their seat and would think that the seam would cut into your legs on a long ride.
  13. The F-111 pod was rocketed along tracks, with a chicken slung over the rails, to see how the canopy reacted.
  14. I have a 'top sellerie' from France, looks like a Bagster. Can put in very long days with it, so I'm happy. I started with remodeled stock seat, but still too firm. Had the seat rebuilt for touring and the seat was good, but I ended up in the wrong position. Went with 'Top Sellerie' with comfort foam and long seat.
  15. Plugs on the l/h side is for the std MT-09, Tracer is behind the screen, and yes, they will power a Nav and even small LED running lights.
  16. Out Mt Archer way today. Queensland, Australia. Imgur ... Imgur ...
  17. I have the 'Ball Mount Bracket' behind my screen with 25mm spacers fitted. Has just been that way for a while, done it for clearance of the phone to screen. Maybe I have additional benefits as well?
  18. @dazzler24, Seen a lot of info on these deflectors and seen nearly all local Police bikes with them, thought I would give it a try. Outcome is excellent, just a little of the light buffeting has gone and I ride with the visor up and can hear my Nav/music better. Don't suffer the after effects of a long day on the bike either. Ordered a smoke version off eBay and got a clear one. Rang the seller and they couldn't ensure a smoke one, so I got a refund and keep the original order. Win win for me.
  19. Brisbane is sea level, the pic with the buildings on the shoreline is the Gold Coast. The Brisbane region is surrounded by mountains (as we call them), then flatten out as you go inland.
  20. @2and3cylinders, if you are referring to me , then we max out at about 800 mtrs near Brisbane on the ranges. Takes me about 1/2 hr to get to the hills.
  21. @fr8dog, Liked it, seems to fit me well, didn't go for a test run though. Comparable to the BMW 1250 GS in size. My next bike will be a sports adventure , but, the seat must be 850mm max.
  22. Went and had a look at a Multistrada today, came home via Beechmont, Maroon Dam, Moogerah Dam and the Fassifern Valley in Queensland, Australia.
  23. I'll catch the next boat over, as soon as the government eases travel restrictions. 😉
  24. I would like to be more comfortable on the gravel. The Avons have a good rap with the 500x crowd, so I thought I would give them a try. Have seen them on the tarmac and they keep up with my pace.
