  1. 15 mm riser kit. Never installed. If you pay for the cost of a box/package and shipping anywhere in Canada, they're yours.
  2. Agreed. Possibly one of the coolest bikes I've ever seen.
  3. 1. 1982 Suzuki GS400T (stock photo) - it was already 20 years old when I bought it to learn on and it was perfect for that 2. 2002 Honda VF750c Magna - probably my favourite bike. The V4 made all sorts of power and surprised everyone I rode with 3. 2003 Honda RR600 - too much fun but I could only take the riding position for a few hours 4. 2008 Honda GL1800 Goldwing - an absolutely incredible machine that was a dream to ride on long trips yet handled well in slow-speed maneuvers 5. 2019 Yamaha Tracer GT - it's a great bike and the support from this forum has helped me tweak it to make it more enjoyable but the jury is still out on whether it's going to be a keeper
  4. What front sprocket do you recommend?
  5. Thanks but I have a different Ram mount I'm currently using for now. What is a quad lock?
  6. I like your Ram mount. Is this the type you have? RAM Mounts Handlebar Bolt Ball with Hole Base Your motorcycle rides on rubber tires for grip and to soften the...
  7. I purchased my Bagster seat from Silverstonemotor.com in France. They were great about answering all my questions before I placed the order. BAGSTER Yamaha TRACER 900 & GT 2018 2019 motorcycle comfort READY LUXE saddle - 5372Z BAGSTER comfort seat READY LUXE motorcycle Yamaha...
  8. I had mine shipped to my US address in Buffalo. It arrived 2 days after they shipped it.
  9. Not at all. The only two minor modifications required before the handlebar assembly is removed from the forks and the adapter is installed is to loosen the front brake banjo bolt just enough to rotate the fitting down until it is aimed at the top of the right fork tube cap and remove the cable/wire loom clamp from the left side of the handlebar until the handlebar assembly is re-installed on the adapter. The whole process was done in less than 15 minutes.
  10. Installed the riser today and love the new position. A beneficial side effect of the riser is that the key is easier to access now. After the weather improves, a long test ride is in store. I'm only 5'9" and always felt the lean was a bit too far forward before.
  11. Thanks to harraseeket for lending his bike to Helibars for the design and manufacturing process, the riser is now available for the GT. I just placed my order and can't wait to get it installed. Apparently they will ship on or before February 17th. 12. I called them today to get an idea of how long it will take before the risers are in production. At first, she seemed surprised I knew they had a GT in their shop Then she said that the risers could be ready in as little as a month, depending on a few factors. I'm sure you'll be the first to know so please keep us posted.
  13. Thank you so much for letting them have your bike for a while harraseeket. I hear their products are excellent and I'll be ordering a set as soon as they're available.
  14. You make a valid point. Like I wrote, I'm still trying to get used to the GT and that's for the same reasons I was attracted to it in the first place. If I end up moving to a different bike, it wouldn't be the Versys because IMHO, it's a larger version of the GT. I'd probably go back to a Wing.
  15. I came to the GT after 11 years on a Goldwing and I'll admit that I'm still trying to get used to it. In fact, I'm not so sure I'm going to keep it. The noise, seating position and seat are all factors in that decision. I recently tested a Versys 1000 and found it much smoother than the GT but not as "flickable". I love the serviceability and weight of the GT, and it doesn't take four hours to change the air filter. I guess there are trade-offs. You just have to make sure you can accept the cons with the pros.
  16. When you did this, what did you use to cap the end of the hose? I can't seem to find a vacuum hose plug?
  17. Easily downloaded online for free.
  18. Just watch the first portion of the video.
