Premium Member 1moreroad Posted September 15, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 15, 2016 How do I pop these? The service manual doesn't show an exploded view or disassembly. I'm not finding a description on this site that I can safely follow. Thanks Floating front panel inside by gcsurb, on Flickr
JJM
You basically pry them off with a screwdriver or use pliers.

Premium Member washufiddyfo Posted September 15, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 15, 2016 I just got some separation on a different corner and carefully pulled the pieces apart, and they popped off one by one. Just be careful of where they go flying if you go that route. Or get a flathead and get it underneath the round part, I guess you could pry metal tips but then have to bend them all back in place to put it back on. Premium Member 1moreroad Posted September 15, 2016 Author Premium Member Share Posted September 15, 2016 Got it! Thanks. Just didn't want to force something too hard and break it.
timg
I used a 90 degree pick (like a dental tool) and got under one of the tabs, then another and they came off easily after developing a knack quickly. This left them in good shape to just push back on when ready.
desertfjr
Use a pick to pry the tabs back just a little...re-flatten them before reinstalling and your are good to go.
