matthewhardaker
I’ve just bought this screen and have noticed the holes on the screen do not seem to line up with the holes on the motorcycle. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just poor manufacturing by GIVI?
norcal616
IIRC most aftermarket windscreens require a "mount kit"... I have the Givi Windscreen also the big ole barn door one and it required a "mount kit" 2012 wr250f - C-class 30+ age group 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition-80whp 2015 fj-09- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich tune by 2WDW @120whp
bigorangecntry07
Not sure about the sport screen, but I know that the touring screen requires another bracket that mounts to the stock slide adjuster. You may want to look further into the installation instructions or contact Givi and let them know of your issues.
Supporting Member texscottyd Posted April 20, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted April 20, 2018 @Trambo - Do you have any insight on this? Looking at the pictures of the D2122S on your bike, it looks like the screen mounts directly onto the stock windshield bracket...
Premium Member Trambo Posted April 20, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted April 20, 2018 There is no other mount, it's direct to OEM mounting. I will confirm they do not line up perfectly. It takes a little fidgeting and flexing to get all 4 screws in, but once you get them loosely inserted, you can tighten it up and it just works itself out. 2015 Stealth Grey FJ-09 Pilot Base of Operations: Chesterfield, VA Farkels?
