Cruizin
He is using an Indian to attempt three of Evel Knievel's jumps, including the Caesars Palace fountain jump . I give him mega points for using an Indian instead of a modern dirtbike with lighter weight and better suspension. Its a live event, one jump per hour. Cruizin
Yep, I have my DVR set to record it. Three hours is a long event. Lets chat live on this thread during the event. Evel used to jump on Harley's, it's hilarious that Travis chose the new Indian (modified) for these jumps. koth442
I don't think History channel is included with my Sling TV package. Darn. I'm sure it will be on YouTube soon enough! '15 FJ09
Cruizin
The show is on and man, they just said that the Indian that Travis is using only has 4 inches of suspension travel. My KTM has 13 inches of travel. Plus, the Indian is 340 lbs. He better land perfectly on all three jumps. koth442
I just watched the replays. It looks like a kind of sketchy landing over the fountain. One foot came off the peg. Compared to the bus jump, the fountain jump looked relatively small. I wonder what makes it so difficult? Approach maybe? '15 FJ09
chitown
Great performance by Travis as usual. The hype and tv show was almost too much to take Talking Heads: "He's doing it on an American-made bike as a tribute to Evel". Er, Evel's Caesar jump was attempted on a Triumph. He also used Hondas, Nortons, and even Laverdas dressed up to not look like Laverdas, etc.
suitedsevens
Geez that announcer was next level annoying.
