Premium Member DavidS Posted February 24, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted February 24, 2019 After my harrowing ride in the snow last Friday, I decided to clean the bike and change oil and filter. Once I completed these tasks, I started the engine to warm it up, and noticed some water leaking under the bike. I got down to inspect, and it is coming from a small hole in the exhaust collector box. Has anyone experienced this before, and is this something I can fix home remedy style with a patch, or will I need to take it somewhere and have it welded. Supporting Member roadrash83 Posted February 24, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted February 24, 2019 I believe you will find it is a weep hole designed to let condensation drain so your exhaust system does not rust out. jsp
These weep holes are commonly used in most motorcycle, car and truck exhausts. john
