  1. I've been thinking about possibly upgrading to Stich or Klim for convenience of wet and dry riding, BUT what about the slime and grime that can come w riding in rain? Today in Jersey it was raining and 60°F. Put on my cheapo 2-piece rain gear, hood under helmet, stayed dry and didnt worry about getting things dirty. Could always just hose off the rubber suit. If I had expensive Goretex would the breathability be affected by the dirt? Just looking for opinions. Thks,
  2. And I have an actual Tracer 900 so feel at home w new site. Thks
  3. I just donated annual fee. Forgot to out my screen name. Can you pls add it. Good luck w site!
  4. ...As far as turning them on and off, I didn't wire them to a switch, they are direct wired to the accessory 12v lead behind the screen I too picked up the white DRL's during Black Friday sale but haven't installed yet. Will prob run at 100% power all time since wouldn't want them at 50% when I don't have high beams on. Are you happy with 100% power all the time? Any times you think it's too bright during day or night? Thanks,
  5. Don't do it! If you get a tinted visor you'll have to find a pocket to put the sunglasses in. With a clear visor, park bike and sun glasses are right on your nose. No lost time in looking good...
  6. As for my "niggle" if that's a word, it would be the menu wheel being on right side. Cant realistically operate it underway without using cruise control IMO.
  7. The 2019 is over $20,000 with heated grips and bag supports but no bags. With the bags I'm guessing you'd add $1,000 to that. It SHOULD be better at that price, over $8,000 more than GT. Nice bike hope you're happy on it.... Coming from FJR's and R1's I'm loving the 900GT. Have 2,200 miles in 2 mos and makes me smile, very comfortable to ride, light weight, good performance and range.
  8. Thanks for responses. Just tried my Pitbull front fork lift and the rear wheel rests on the ground. At least it's steady.
  9. I've owned the GT < 2 mos, have 1,800 miles, and loving the bike. But of course getting some questions thinking ahead to first tire change. I have front and rear stands from my prior bike (R1) to take off wheels. With the Tracer's center stand, can I use that and my front stand to lift bike or do I still need rear stand when using front? Don't want any unpleasant surprises first time I lift the front on this bike. Also I noticed I have just 1 pinch bolt on front axle. Used to seeing 2 on each side on prior bike. Is there an online shop manual to do this right? Thanks,
