  1. Has anyone in USA received the recall notice? Google hasnt helped and it would be great to have it fixed during the slower winter months at dealer. Thks
  2. I ordered them from Twisted Throttle in Nov 2018 and part number is as follows. They fit my 2019 Tracer GT just fine. Shipped Items: Item Number Item Description Qty Shipped RG.FP0149.BK R&G Front Axle Sliders Fork Protectors for Yamaha FZ-09 '14-'17, MT-09 '18-'19, FJ-09 '15-'17, XSR900 '16-'19 & Tracer 900GT '19 if you put that Item# in the search box on Twisted Throttle - Home page you'll see pics...
  3. Not sure where you are in NY but Washington Cycleworks does suspension setups. Highly rated. Had all my bikes done there incl Tracer. Home | Washington Cycle Works ...
  4. You would give up automatically showing trailing cars that you're slowing down so that, what, you can use cruise control? which works just fine 98% of the time??? Really?

  6. Where do you live? In US there is no 2018 GT, first model is 2019, which went on sale maybe Aug 2018. Got mine in Sep. In Europe it was tagged as 2018 GT, I remember seeing first reviews around early May or so. Yes I was following this model waiting for it to come to US.
  7. Dayum, I'm looking at doing something similar. Seeing theres a couple of Honda and Kawi offerings coming real soon. What model and year is yours? Just trying to learn as much as I can. Thks
  8. Thanks! I'm a little more knowledgeable than when I woke up this am...
  9. ok, maybe im not as old as OP but I'm not young either: How do you "drop" a Niken. It's a trike, right? but with 2 wheels in the front, so a reverse trike. Don't they NOT "drop"? Unless you mean like if I roll my car can i get it back on all 4 wheels? 😧
  10. I got this for my 19 GT soon after purchase and have over 12k miles on it. It's well made and, ah, comfortable. This seat has never limited how many miles I ride. And for front and rear a good price.
  11. Well just to update this went out today and no problems w CC. Worked fine. I toggled the rear and front brake levers while it sat in garage. Whether it was the on/off, checking the brakes, dont know. Wonder if the recall will come to USA.
  12. Does this setup "unwind" the odometer as you drive?
  13. How can you have a Crabcake post with no pics of, um, the crabcake? I feel let down...
  14. This just happened to me on my 2019 Tracer GT, 12,500 miles. Mid-ride the cruise control wouldn't engage. Light would just flash. Was in 4th gear or higher. Searched and found this thread. I'll try it tmw and update. Bike is now in garage as the 23lb turkey roasts...
  15. Bike looks great! Where is it 75°F? Jealous...
  16. I just put the Akra full on my 2019 GT. After 2 years and 12k miles went for the upgrade including reflash to match. First ride tmw, expected 70F in NJ! ‐------------------- Nov 8 update: I now have about 150 miles with the full Akra exhaust and new ECU tune after 12,000 miles w stock exhaust and flash. Bike is faster and bike sounds better. Not too loud. Wont cause the Euro weenies to change any laws. Do you need it? No. Does it bring the triple to the next level? Yes. Does it look and sound great? Yes.
  17. Any inline 4 engine is heavier, hotter and wider than the Tracer Triple. You'll have more smiles per mile and maybe $6k more in your pocket. Wise choice.
  18. Hey you sold your Tracer, you can only get incorrect answers from now on. 😄 I have them on mine, called "fork sliders" in US. Cheap insurance I think...
  19. I swapped out to aftermarket exhaust and have this OEM version sitting in garage. 12k miles. $50.00 Headers, cat, exhaust. Central NJ Zip 08690.
  20. Just did a couple of weekend trips through Poconos to Finger Lakes region of NY state. Colors were peak at elevation!
  21. You had the Eurooean blue one, correct? Remember some pics you posted. Best looking version IMO.
  22. Looks great, one last thought. To help user count clicks of adjustment, could you number the what 12 points, similar to clock? Just as an aid to visually measuring rotation. Thks, PS. Offer in different languages, incl Roman numerals, japanese, etc. Could go global! For proper Yamaha adjustment need the Japanese version. Charge a premium!
