Should you wash it after every ride?

Today 7.22 pm couple on charcoal FJ09. Intersection of Mississauga Rd & King. I was on black Tracer 900.

Cleaned it up nicely after 2 days 900km trip, lubricated the chain and installed LED brake lights for the top case. Adjusted front suspension. Now going for short ride.

Skid plate, GPS and auxiliary lights moved from 900 to new (to me) 900 GT. That was in fact yesterday. Today I took her for 555 km ride. I must say cruise control is great.

Today GT got fresh oil and oil filter. Foot enlargement and engine protectors moved from one to another. Relocated RAM phone holder too.

Well, I spent half of the day cleaning up my 2019 900 and my (new to me - picked up yesterday) 2019 GT. The transferring process started. So far I transferred wind deflector, the beak, SW Motech tank bag with mounting ring and Air Hawk seat cushion with cover. Removed passenger grabs from GT. Few more accessories left thanks be done - radiator guard, hand levers, engine protection, skid plate, top case with rack and LED lights, foot pegs, auxiliary lights, GPS and side stand foot enlargement-before GT is ready to go and 900 is ready to go on the market. Anyone interested in Ontario? Mint condition with only 18000 km on it.

I only put 250 km yesterday on them but next weekend I’m going to Ride The Highlands so perhaps another 2000km or so.

Just got 15000km on my Tracer 900 and it was time to change tires. Original rear was basically done. Because I’m going for 4 days trip this week it was time for new “shoes”. This time Dunlop Sportmax Sportroad2. At the same time there was a time for oil change (Rotella T6 full synthetic Diesel engine oil). When I finished took her for 250 km ride. Rolling so much smoother…cornering way better and faster - very neutral and stable. And transmission smooth like a butter. So far so good.

From my experience definitely top case. I have it on my bike all the time. Much more useful and convenient. In my case 46-47l is enough. I’ve been using side cases only for long weekends and multi day trips. Aluminum side cases? It can break you leg pretty easy if you go down.
