Thanks Heavy. Just came back. Picking it up on Friday. It is stock base model but I already have nice Givi V47 top case waiting for it (purchased today btw), radiator guard, Yamaha adventure foot pegs, Zumo GPS, 2 SW tank bags and windscreen wind deflector lol. Still will need top case luggage rack for it, some side cases and mounting racks. Eventually engine guards as well…so far so good though. It got 2 wheels…

Last few years on V Strom 650 about 30-33 000 km annually which comes to about 20 000 miles (and that’s ON, Canada). 2020 42 000km (26 000miles) on my last 2017 V Strom 650XT and year later (2021) I broke my personal record with 43 000km (26 700 miles) on my first 2017 FJ09 before I broke my wrist and couldn’t ride until May 2022 (from the end of October). It could’ve been couple of thousands more lol. Have I mentioned that last 2 years that happened thanks to the Covid?

Well, I sold it (2015 FJ09). A week ago in fact. Looking forward to get Tracer 900. Going tomorrow to check out 2019 …

Wow. Just wow! I know of V Strom 1000 with over 300000 miles on it but the bike was 2003. Remember reading about VFR 800 as well but again much older bike. You’ve been doing some serious riding Mr. Good for you! Keep going.

Yes it is. Specially that you don’t see them to often. When driving home from Ottawa last weekend I’ve seen 7 V Stroms (my previous bike) and not a single FJ09/Tracer 900.

It might’ve been closer to 3. And yes - FJR panniers. At that time I remember thinking - it might be Piotrek from FJ09 Forum. There was one more FJ09 at the parking lot there (2017 white one). Didn’t mentioned here since I know the owner and we ended up riding to the end of the day together.

And another red one in Belfountein last Saturday around 2 o’clock.

I was going to Ride The Highlands (best riding area in Ontario). And it was great except one day of rain. About 1600 km (1000miles) of fun. I use the the smaller tank bag when riding locally and the big one (with map pocket - yes some people still use maps) on multi day trips.

Every 200-250 miles it sounds about right. For me it means every full tank of gas. And that’s what I do.

Seriously? Every 100 miles every single link? It make me wonder how long did it take you to cross the country?

On my previous 2017 FJ09 I’ve got 50 000km out of OEM chain. The same my riding buddy on his 2019 GT but at the end of last year I got 2015 FJ with 18 000km on it and previous owner has already replaced the original one…

Finally took some time and installed Corbin seat properly in higher setting. And washed it after last trip.

Can’t imagine you’ve been riding it for 3 years without A mode engaged. There is no difference in fuel consumption. Being in mode B or Standard just make your hand tired quicker because you have to turn the throttle more than in mode A. Have I mentioned more fun?

And another one just ready to go for 5 days road trip.
