Good for you. I think my riding is pretty normal. But generally in my opinion your bike is like the horse- if you treat it gently it will cooperate and work for you.

For the last 1000km (just over 600US miles) dashboard is showing 4l/100km which comes to almost 59 US MPG. But it’s to optimistic. In reality it is more like 4.3l/100km which translates to just below 55 US MPG. That’s stock bike. Riding mostly backroads. 50/50 A and standard mode.

Grey/red Tracer 900 in Hockley Village today around 3pm and another one in Belfountain at 7 pm. This time yellow (yes yellow) Tracer 900 (GT I think). My riding buddy was on black/silver Tracer 900 GT and my is grey/red Tracer 900.

Installed auxiliary lights (minimalistic this time) and took her for a spin.

Yes I did. First bike on the right. I noticed blue GT and was looking for the owner hoping that you got my message but without any luck. Later on when I got home Tom confirmed that in fact it was your bike. Ended up with over 600km yesterday. It was in fact great riding day.

Lubricated the chain and went for 250 km ride. Today another trip but this time about 600 in front of me.

Early season but look at the weather. Tomorrow morning I’m going to Bancroft (300km one way) to meet and have a lunch with Stromtroopers (V Strom riders). People are coming from Mississauga, GTA, Ottawa and one guy even from Sarnia. Perhaps is going to be 20 of us. That would be nice ride for you too. If you interested it’s a restaurant on the corner of 28 and 62. You can’t miss it. Everybody is welcome. We are meeting there at 12.

Just wondering - how often you replace spark plugs in your car? Does 8000 sounds right to you now?

Today the second ride of the year but this time no FJ09 or Tracer 900 spotted. Left home at 2 pm with 13C. Came back 3 hours later and temperate dropped to 7C half way of my ride. Just 1C another 3 hours later…

Maybe if you put 5000km a year it makes not much difference but if you ride 50 000 it counts.

2 months ago when I got it And now. Wind deflector installed, beak, radiator guard, quick release SW Motech tank bag, Garmin gps, Oxford heated grips, short fully adjustable clutch and brake levers, engine protection, Yamaha adventure foot pegs, skid plate, mesh seat cover, luggage rack with Givi top case and wheel reflective stripes. That’s couple of days ago on my first on this one (new to me) and first this season short 200 km run. Must say she is behaving very well so far.
