Engine Temp Sensor -- Where Located?

Can someone tell me where the temp sensor is located in the cooling system?

It seems very responsive to air flow through the radiator, either by fans or bike movement.  Which makes me wonder if it accurately indicates engine temp which can't rise or fall that fast.

Also, any of you speed-racers running an oil temp gauge on the C3?

It's a coolant temperature sensor, not an engine temperature sensor.  The coolant does change temperature that fast, of course.  As to where it is, it's in the back of the head on the right hand side of the bike.
