Factory pannier “mod”

Just sure if this has been shared previously-not my idea, came from FJR forum originally.

If you put an extra “wrap” on the strap to the LH pannier lid, when you are on your side-stand and open the LH case the lid ends up about level instead of pointing at the ground...if something falls out onto the lid, is a lot less likely to end up on the ground.

Really doesn’t limit access to the contents when on the center stand.

If you don't ride in the rain don't bother, only time anything falls out is when the ground is wet or muddy

Went for a spin last night to catch the fights with a friend an hour out of town, and checked my (used) panniers - and the previous owner had already done this for me!!
