  1. Easy! It’s a throwback to the era of sidecars on motorbikes. These are mounted on the right hand side, so they make it easy to remove the right footpeg to attach the sidecar when you want to clip it on and easy to replace when you remove the sidecar. The left peg stays put, so is riveted. For example: https://www.cyclesidecar.com/attach-to-enfield/ Ahem: this may be absolute BS, but is good a theory as any Accurate or not it sounds as plausible as anything... I salute you and from this day forward i will go with your explanation when the subject comes up.
  2. I would like to see one.....and ride one. The tech/mechanics intrigues me. How boring would the world be if we didn’t try and do things differently sometimes?
  3. I saw one the other day - with a unicorn... Was the unicorn riding it?
  4. Has anyone actually seen, sat on, or ridden one yet?
  5. I'm about 45 minuets from 129. Go in the early morning on a weekday. many times you'll have it to yourself.
  6. I have often wondered about these 90 deg stems - do they not throw out the wheel balance? I’ve ran them for 30k miles. The wheels balance fine and checking and adding air are much easier.
  7. If it goes till this weekend, I think I’ll get a waterwheel.
  8. As far as the price goes, around here the kn is cheaper than the Yamaha filter. It is on amazon too.
  9. I don’t put them on that tight. It is quicker for me to grab a 17mm and loosen the filter than to use the strap wrench. I also burn myself on the header less.
  10. I don’t do track days. I’ve used them on cars, trucks and bikes for years and never had a problem. I’ll look into the issue though, thanks for the info.
  11. that is my preferred filter, especially if hot pipes restrict access for removal. The nut on the end is worth its weight in gold.
  12. I had a scorpion slip on on my last bike. It sounded goooodddd and was well made.
  13. I did the million $ and took 550 to Durango. I found another road I’m going to try next time I’m out that way CO149. Also, US 64 from Raton NM west to Bloomfield was pretty good.
  14. I was looking at that on the map recently! Super envious! It was fantastic. It’s also not far from another great road in Utah. Utah 128. I’m working on some pics from it. The best parts follow the Colorado river in the bottom of the canyon.
  15. A couple of pics on US64 in New Mexico. A fabulous road in a beautiful state.
  16. My kit looks similar to the one pictured. I’ve had it for years. They must have changed something because it’s worked perfectly for me.
  17. Strange, I’ve used the motion pro tool to install several chains. 10+. Never had a problem. Edit: what it the gray thing in your picture? It doesn’t look like any part in my motion pro kit.
  18. Had mine checked at 24,000 miles. All were fine.
  19. I already put that in my original post there. "For the next one, how about one with a professional sports stadium or arena in the background? No college or high school etc." Y’all better get on the stick because I’m headed to the west coast next Thursday and I’ll get that if none of you beat me to it.
