I always ride with high beam on, aimed down so both lamps are on. 2 ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
micklauwers
My question is i know i can angle the main beam down but is it a case of altering the led or a relay to get the same brightness.
skipperT
No, nothing can easily be done. The lights are fired from an LED control module. If you feel comfortable mucking around inside there, I’ve seen used ones on eBay. Let us know what you figure out. -skip
kingfisher
I didn't like the visibility to other drivers from the single headlight either, so installed a pair of Denali LED's that improve visibility. Another option.

rlambke19
I added the Yamaha OEM fog lights, which improves the visibility, but the Denali's are even brighter/better imo. Edited September 12, 2023 by rlambke19
Fleng
I have the LED+ signal lights installed. They double as daylight driving lights, so always 3 lights on in front and back.
Ziggy105
I installed Denali amber DRL's on the bracket for the reflector on the fork lower and wired them for 100% intensity. Unfortunately they are "un-obtanium" here in North America 🙂 Edited September 12, 2023 by rlambke19
Ivan C
Are you looking to get more light in front of you or to increase your visibility to other vehicles? If the latter, I put some yellow film over my high beam, which I think makes it stand out more than two (or more) white lights. Other riders that I go on group rides with have mentioned that it's easy to spot me in the crowd. 🙂
