Best option for a large tail bag?

Recommended Posts

I like the looks of the SW-Motech for a larger tailpack, but prefer to keep mine small.

Can you tell us more about your "hardcover" tailbag-manufacturer, where are they available, price?

It's an Axio hardshell backpack. I carefully cut-off the straps and it makes a nice tail-bag. Made one for my K1200RS years ago. Just happened to find one on eBay in Candy Red that matches my FJ-09.

Just got and mocked up my Nelson Rigg CL-1040-tp.  So far looks like it will fit ont he back seat great and work as a back rest.  I'm not a fan of how it mounts up though, I would prefer two straps that tightened down instead of the 4 fully removable straps.

Hi everyone, I don't have my FJ-09 yet but am already looking at luggage. I'm looking for something non-permanent; it will be used probably 5-10 times a year and am not really interested in the side luggage/top case option for many reasons so I was looking at large tail bags (>45 liters). Any advice on a good one for the FJ-09?
I was thinking in this one: http://shop.sw-motech.com/en/4052572000403.htm but am not sure it would fit well. It goes for ~150€.
