trench
The SW-Motech one looks perfect if one needs a stiffer bag. This is one I'll probably get.
Premium Member clint Posted May 21, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 21, 2015 I like the looks of the SW-Motech for a larger tailpack, but prefer to keep mine small. Piedmont of NC '15 FJ-09 '94 GTS-1000

Can you tell us more about your "hardcover" tailbag-manufacturer, where are they available, price? It's an Axio hardshell backpack. I carefully cut-off the straps and it makes a nice tail-bag. Made one for my K1200RS years ago. Just happened to find one on eBay in Candy Red that matches my FJ-09. db5304
Just got and mocked up my Nelson Rigg CL-1040-tp. So far looks like it will fit ont he back seat great and work as a back rest. I'm not a fan of how it mounts up though, I would prefer two straps that tightened down instead of the 4 fully removable straps.
lapuree
Hi everyone, I don't have my FJ-09 yet but am already looking at luggage. I'm looking for something non-permanent; it will be used probably 5-10 times a year and am not really interested in the side luggage/top case option for many reasons so I was looking at large tail bags (>45 liters). Any advice on a good one for the FJ-09? I was thinking in this one: http://shop.sw-motech.com/en/4052572000403.htm but am not sure it would fit well. It goes for ~150€. Thats the one I have - http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r211/C_THRU_U/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-01/20150131_112944.jpg So, do you like it?

ryder
Can you tell me where you purchased the tank protection shown in your picture? I am referring to the picture depicting the SW_Motech Evo rear tail bag posted by "deersSlayer"

scldr2
I own this bag, and I can say that it fits perfectly on the FJ. Sure it's a little pricey, but there are some neat features and quality construction to help justify the cost.
