koth442
I've done 300 miles of twisty and another 100 or so on my twisty commute (pace is ramped down) and they work great so far. Excellent drive. '15 FJ09
Premium Member Trambo Posted July 1, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted July 1, 2017 New rubber in the rear... check. I bought the Dunlop Roadsmart 3 from a very local and reputable shop in Milton ON (Ace Moto Tech) and had it mounted on the rim for a very reasonable price. Slapped it on the bike at home and I'm ready to go. Incidentally there was another FJ in the shop getting some work done, silver-gray '15 with flush mount front indicators and a Givi top case plate. Perhaps it belongs to someone on the forum. That chain is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too clean, Pio. 2015 Stealth Grey FJ-09 Pilot Base of Operations: Chesterfield, VA Farkels? redfjniner
I was thinking piotrek's chain was way too clean, but also the wheel. I have a PR-4 front and a PR-3 rear on the shelf to be installed soon. I don't know what it is, but others get more miles out of their tires than I do. I might try a RS-3, Ive used three RS-2s after the OEM D222, Ive also used a BS T30 and two BS T30 EVO's. But, the PR-3 rear and PR-4 front were taken off at 8800 miles and still have 1.75-2.0mm of rubber = 2500-3000 miles left on them, so I'm opt-ing to do them again on the next tire change.
