These 4mm thick polypro covers are "AMA approved" for use on the track. Will they provide protection equal to or better than crash bars? I actually unloosen the 2 front bolts, undo the back ones to let the skid plate tilt down to drain the oil... I then place a sheet of aluminum foil to line the bottom of skid plate to drain into the used oil pan(makes clean up easy) I have enough room to remove and replace filter... Quick clean up around the filter with brake cleaner...
