I'm going with the Quadlock, they are more reasonably priced and have gotten really solid reviews. Since we are in lockdown I haven't been in a hurry to pick one up, but I will probably order it today.

Sorry, late to the party here. 

I just stash my registration and insurance card in a ziplock baggie under the passenger seat. It doesn't take up much space.

This is my approach too.  I only use one MC jacket at a time - sometimes with seasonal changes, but one consistently - so keeping that stuff in my jacket is a lot more practical than stashing it on the bike.

 

With that said, there's a handy little tray under the seat.
