The extender I put on was just that, to extend on to the original .The total replacement is the problem one that required the braces or the newer model redo. Just to be clear. ! MIKE Yes - my fault. I bought mine last year and they are sending me the brackets free-of-charge, so if you don't get them, I would contact them and let them know and I'm sure they'll make it right. I find them to be very responsive via FB Messenger. Rob I received my new hugger yesterday and it is the earlier version dated 5/12/2020 without the brackets. I emailed Pyramid right away. They replied this morning and said it was no problem to send me the updated fitting kit. They were also courteous enough to make me aware that i will have to drill 2 extra holes in the hugger. Great customer service! 3 1 2019 Tracer 900 GT. 2022 MT-09SP. 2002 Buell S3T Thunderbolt. 2016 FJ-09 SOLD. 2019 XSR900 SOLD.

northsouth
My Pyramid extension fell off. That sounds really strange... I cleaned exactly as instructed applied the sticky tabs to where there was NO gaps and it fell off within a month. Throw those tabs away and abs epoxy it from the start. The sticky tabs have held up fine on my last two bikes with the front extension but for some reason the rear did not work.

I was supper critical on the tab placement and the clamping overnight . Seem to be really stuck on and holding . I'm crossing my fingers.
