  1. Love that colour on the GT.πŸ‘
  2. That is one nice bike. Even better with the Bagster.πŸ‘
  3. Go for it. What a difference compared with OEM seat.πŸ‘
  4. Have you tried Trim Workshops in Glasgow ? Google them. I have been told that they re-shape motorcycle seats. Worth a try.
  5. 5700 miles on my originals, and no where near wear limits.πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. This is my Bagster, when I got it. I opted for Bultex foam in front half. Very comfy.
  7. My Bagster seat is also waterproof. I have had it for 2 months now,and very happy with it. πŸ‘
  8. Welcome Greg57. Good choice of bike.
  9. I totally agree with all of the above.πŸ‘πŸ˜
  10. I hoped there weren't any restrictions 'cos I was at Aberfeldy, along Loch Tay and home by Loch EarnπŸ‘. Lochearnhead to Crieff was very busy with bikes.😊 I only clocked up 100 miles, but enjoyed every minute. Good to get out.😊😊 Kenny.
  11. Welcome Stew. Some good biking roads in the S.W. πŸ‘ B.T.W. Are there any mileage restrictions for biking, now that lockdown has been eased in Scotland. Cheers, Kenny.
  12. +1 with Bagster. I also bought mine from motostorm.it Very happy with it. πŸ‘
  13. That is where I have fitted Denali flush mount lights. Wired into running lights and blinkers. πŸ‘
  14. Right then. Got bike back from dealer last night. The cause of all this is NOT starter/kill switch. I fitted a pair of Denali DRL's/Indicators, but did NOT connect them up. I know very little about bike electrics,so asked a biker guy who stays along the road from me if he would connect them up for me. He said no problem. Turns out the cause of the starter not going off is when ignition is switched,DRL's come on (fine), but they are also sending a permanent live feed straight to the starter, hence it keeps turning. l don't know how they are DRL's are connected,I wasn't there when this was done. Dealer checked starter/kill switch, and all relays.(all o.k.). He has now disconnected DRL's,and taped all the wires up,the indicators are o.k. Everything is now perfect. So what I thought was a warranty claim, has turned out to be an expensive botch job by this guy,who I thought knew about electrics. The final bill which included a service (oil + brake fluid change) was Β£192 !!! OUCH !!
  15. I don't use the kill switch all the time, but as littlebruv says, its easier to reach than the key. Anyway bike was collected last night,so it's now back at the dealer.
  16. It's scary what would have happened if I had jumped on bike, not realising, and gone for a long run.πŸ™
  17. Yes,starter motor is running continuously, and to stop it you have to turn engine off at key. Going from Run to Stop and back to Run doesn't stop the starter motor. I first started bike and after 2/3 minutes,I hit the kill switch only to hear starter motor still turning. Felt starter motor, and it was pretty warm. Could have been much worse if I hadn't stopped engine. When key is switched back on,everything is o.k. (until you hit the start button). Will find out what dealer and Yamaha do about it and report back. Kenny.
  18. My 2019 GT (11 months old/4000 miles) is going in to the dealers on Wed.,to have a warranty job done. Starter/kill switch is faulty. When you hit the kill switch, engine stops, BUT starter motor is still turning!! Dealer says he has a GT in there with the same fault. He also told me it is a known fault with certain Yamaha's. Nice one Yamaha.πŸ‘Ž Anybody else had the same problem? Ride safe, Kenny.
  19. Your comments on the Bagster seat are welcome. I ordered my one a week ago,and opted for Bultex foam. Should get it mid December.πŸ‘ Kenny.
