  1. I set my girlfriends helmet up with the Cardo Spirit. Economical option (~$100) for the rare times she decides she wants to ride with me. If later she want to upgrade, we'll do that, but it has worked well thus far.
  2. Depends how long the ride is I would say.... This whole "break in" subject can be contentious. If your first 830 km were spirited enough I'd say change it now and before you winter it.
  3. I think as @wanderer pointed out, the west coast is fairly large and to account for everyone that could reasonably fit the definition would be a hassle. A weekend meetup makes sense but some may need to bookend the weekend with days off to account for travel still. Throw something at the calendar with a few that say yes and then let it grow year over year.
  4. Well, I still haven't replaced the line or the pads 🤫. I did give it a good bleed and changed out the fluid and it helped a bit but I am still left wanting more. I will check those pads out for sure though. I still have meat left on the originals only being at 11k but I will probably let it be the last season if I am going to go around the whole system. Thanks for you research!
  5. The 21' has it listed at 77 foot pounds, so that's a plus. I am still unsure if I am happy with their updated chain slack spec.
  6. I'm definitely curious about this as well. Having only owned the 9GT I am not sure what I can order that would work for both. So far I've only switched out the stock screen for a smaller screen for less buffeting on the helmet and some airflow in the summer. I'm not much of a farkler but I definitely want a braided brake line, I think after 8k miles it's time. Might was well switch out the levers though if someone knows the fit. I'll check back in.
  7. I wouldn't wait on me on this. If you have a sale, go for it!
  8. I was curious when I first got the bike having heard about the previous versions and the saddle issues. I didn't know if I would have to look into the aftermarket for a new seat or not. I too have been pleasantly surprised with the seat as far as stock seats go. I do need to give it a good look over though after this past weekend though. The seat seemed to have more play than it should have in a few corners. I've never had a Corbin but have really only ever heard good things which is good considering the price. Always sounds like money well spent.
  9. Looks like you have fixed the issue. I was going to find my instructions for you. When I received my bike back at the end of June '21 they didn't have the bags ready yet but they sent me home with the cylinders for the panniers. I received the panniers in maybe August and installed the locks myself. The instructions seemed pretty straight forward and the extra bits were there for myself as well. They panniers have held up well enough but I haven't used them on any trips longer than a few days. I am satisfied with them overall.
  10. You're telling me through this entire experience, a minute or so stop, you never once decided to get off the bike and take a picture with the alligator?!?!?!? I really hope the photo game thread revives and a picture with an alligator is on the menu. Happy you're safe and sound though in all honesty!
  11. To be fair, at this point neither have I. I have only ordered tires from Revzilla though. Their customer service has been fantastic for me with all products and I value that. That said, I should probably shop around more. For example just looking around I found the t32 for the rear for $178 vs. the currently listed price on Revzilla of $237. I found some even lower prices, though out of stock. When I replaced the rear last time I was in a rush and Revzilla helped with that. Definitely worth looking around going forward though.
  12. You all had me nervous so I checked my math again. I was using RevZilla. Front, Rear Total $494.30 Edit: I am sizing for 120/70ZR17 58W and 18/55ZR17 73W
