available options for crash bar engine guards for the Tracer 9 GT

I ordered these crash bars for my 2019 Tracer 900 GT by mistake.  They don't fit.  I will be buying replacement crash bars later.  These crash bars fit the 2021 and 2022 Tracer 9 GT models.  If anyone is interested in them for their 9 GT, I will sell them for $100 plus shipping in the CONUS.  There is one bolt missing which isn't an issue since the bolt sizes are listed in the instructions on the eBay website.  If anyone is interested in them, please contact me.

I understand that it doesn't list 9 GT in the title of the ad, but it's definitely the proper bars for the 9 GT.  They're very well made.  A slider comes preinstalled on the crash bars and are threaded.

I like the protection the heed bars seem to give. I believe they should protect engine and fairing +tank in a top over. But they are the most substantial of them all. How do they stack up to the swmotech ones and maybe the givi's anyone have them fitted and are to comment on the level of protection they would give? 

And weight wise, are the heed ones heavy?

When I bought my T9GT in 2021 no one was making crash bars except SW-Motech had frame sliders, I bought and installed them.

Fast forward to today, I purchased and installed SW-Motech crash bars in place of the sliders also install fog lights on the bars.  So I have frame sliders available.

Mounted the heed crashbars, must say I'm impressed by the quality and the fit and don't look half bad on the black bike. Hope I will never have to test them. 

Does require to remove them if you need to access the front panel behind it. They were about 2,5 kg each side so 5 in total.

I ordered the Givi crash bars from Motostorm about 2 months ago. The order has been delayed but is supposed to ship next week.

I got my SW-Motech bars in a week.

They ship with DHL which is not the fastest shipper.

I live in the next door country, but even then a simple tankring took 4 days to arrive.

Ordered the Givi gaurds from Motostorm on 08/2/23, shipped 10/3/23, arrived 10/9/23

 

I've usually had good experiences with Motostorm but this time they showed the Givi guards as in stock ready to ship. This turned out to delay the entire order for a couple months. Not a huge deal until...

 

Had some free time today to install the parts and found the right side engine guard does not align properly - not even close. Following the provided directions, I loosely installed the lower left section of the right side guard, and the top right mounting locations are way off. I had to uninstall it and box it back up. Waiting to hear back from Givi and Motostorm.

 

Has anyone here had first hand experience with the Givi guards on a '22 Tracer? ( Givi TN2159B )

I emailed Givi requesting assistance with the engine guard issue mentioned above and this was their response:

 

They can't help because I didn't purchase it in the USA. Seems like a weird rule as it's clearly a genuine Givi product and Givi is an Italian company, and I ordered it from Italy

 

On another note, the Givi rear rack (SRA2159) I ordered was engineered beautifully and fit my '22 Tracer perfect as expected
