I have no idea how or if it works, I would assume by its name that it boosts the octane a few points??  its been sold in auto parts stores for many decades.  🤷🏻‍♂️

Read up on boosters

When they say it'll raise it say 5 points they give the impression is octane points, it's not!

Only a couple three are worth a dam.

Better to us Chevron Techron regularly or their Small Engine Treatment with Techron also including a stabilizer / enthonal neutralizer.

Keeping valves, plugs and combustion chambers clean is more effective reducing knock/ detonation than excess RON

Yamaha RingFree is good too, all the other cleaners are no better than running Marvel mystery oil...

Lucas may have a version of Techron but Seafoam does not.

That's really good to know.  I would have thought most if not all FI engines would have knock sensors.
