Premium Member keithu Posted October 13, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted October 13, 2017 Nice! Though I'm still excited to see the production T7. For off-roading I'd like something a little lighter than the FJ-09.
Cruizin
I am certainly waiting for the T7. https://fz07.org/thread/9108/2018-yamaha-t7-pictures/ Yamaha FZ-10 Forum Yamaha FZ-07 Forum Yamaha Ténéré 700 Forum
alquimista
Nice! Though I'm still excited to see the production T7. For off-roading I'd like something a little lighter than the FJ-09. If it's an evolution from the tenere xt660z, hope is lighter... The tenere even when in written specs has the same wight as the FJ09, the FJ feels with less weigh... Maybe because of the lower center if gravity. And for Off road, indeed 208 kgs is too much.
zachd
It says Tenere on it just behind the headlight....

Premium Member martyl Posted October 23, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted October 23, 2017 Since we're wishing, I'd like to see a cruise control option and... a shaft drive instead of a chain... Oh yeah.... A real seat and not the sadistic stock seat.... I swapped the stock seat out right at delivery with a Corbin. Then after 6000 miles the Corbin seat never broke in so I swapped to a soft gel Corbin. Went through 3 different windshields till I settled on the Parabellum tall tinted. I don't mind chain maintenance but a shaft drive would be awesome on this bike. A Motorcyclist's Church is the open road....
