brewhaha
I remember a long time ago reading there were some tricks to getting it to work. I've never needed mine but it would be useful. My 2015 plug doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance!
andz
After reading this I realised I have never used mine. I went out to the garage, plugged in my cell phone charger, turned the key and it works. No tricks required.
Supporting Member texscottyd Posted August 21, 2020 Supporting Member Share Posted August 21, 2020 As mentioned, it’s switched power that comes on with the key. Otherwise it should just be plug in & go.

Mine started working intermittently and I had it replaced under warranty. Easiest process would be check the fuses first, behind the right side panel. Next step would be verify 12v at the plug itself w/ key on. If you don't want the cigarette lighter style power outlet, you can replace it with a USB socket. 1 ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
HGP61
It's protected by a 2amp fuse, I blew the fuse first time I tried to use it.
