  1. Please report back. I've been holding off (probably 'till next spring) on a touring windshield until there a few more option to pick from.
  2. The bike has a little bit of buzz to it in the higher RPM's but at cruising speeds it's as smooth as butter. That said, I did install the Yamaha MT-09 Adventure Pegs and a pair of Grip Puppies on my GT. Just an extra bit of comfort, grip and vibration isolation. My previous street bikes for the last 18 years has been either the Yamaha Vmax or Honda Magna with the V4 motor and boy howdy that is that one smooth engine.
  3. Saturday was a dreary rainy day. Perfect day for working on the bike Installed: Yamaha LED front blinkers; Motodynamic integrated tail-light and tidy tail; MT-09 adventure pegs; and grip puppies. Cleaned, oiled and adjusted chain Did the first 600 mi oil change
  4. Installed my front Super Tenere (ST) LED blinkers today. A big thank you do Stevesweetz for providing the pictures and write up on post #1. Weird that on the Tracer GT the right side blinker wires are different colors from the left side. For instance, what is red on the left side is blue on the left. Why wouldn't they be the same? Just to be difficult I suppose. Anyway, the most challenging part was getting the base of the ST blinker back on the plastic side panel. Really took a lot of screw driver prying and cajoling. The blinkers look and fit great and the black finish is a much nicer match to the rest of the bike then the grey finish of the stock pumpkins. For the back I used Motorydynamics integrated tail light. The TST relay worked great controlling both front and back blinkers. Plus, I could eliminate the tail lights resistors which are bulky and from what I understand, put off a fair amount of heat.
  5. Installed the MT-09 Adventure Pegs last night and went on a nice ride today. I don't think the bike is super buzzy, but the combination Grip Puppies and Adventure Pegs do a great job of reducing/eliminating what little vibration there was.
  6. Mind sharing what tidy tail, integrated tail light and front blinkers your using for your Tracer GT?
  7. Great thanks. I see how it works now. That is pretty slick that you can control the blinker speed through the relay rather having to use a in-line resistor. Is the FJ/Tracer relay by the battery then?
  8. I ride mostly on the arch of my foot and in that position there is no interference. When you move to the ball of your foot, your heal will come up against the passenger bracket (not foot peg). At size 10.5 and on the ball of by foot, my foot kind of gets tucked or sandwiched between the driver and passenger peg/bracket and I don't mind it all. Having my wife comfortable on the back is important too and she really enjoys the seating position of this sport tourer.
