  1. I have a front Pyramid extender and the full replacement rear Pyramid unit on my 2019 and am very pleased with the quality and value. I really like the '21 and up front with the reinforcing stay.....looks like a sturdy setup! 👍
  2. Glad it worked out for you! Makes for a really nice setup with no adapter plate needed with the Yamaha rack & trunk. 👍
  3. Got it Leroy and the rack will be going out tomorrow via UPS (safer shipping)!😁
  4. And you don't want the literally brand new one I sent you pics of? 🤥
  5. Congrats on your purchase! I think the new 9GT in Red is particularly handsome!! Gotta appreciate a guy that started out on an S90. My first "real" motorcycle was a 1968 Honda CL90.....😎
  6. Maybe we should get a "work group" together to explore the possibilities of a meetup? I'm not too tech savvy but willing to help/ add input and as I stated earlier I do have a friend in the area! 😁
  7. Would be hard to coordinate from Michigan.....but not impossible! My Tennessee riding buddy has an FZ-10 and a B-King and he knows ALL the great roads in the area. He is also known as "the rainman of directions" and it doesn't hurt that he was a UPS driver and then driver supervisor for 30+ years. Never hurts to ask 😁
  8. Thankfully I have both friends and family in the Chattanooga area.......it is an awesome area to ride out of. Good roads in ALL directions! 😎 Always wanted to stay at the "Resort". Probably will one day just because!!
  9. Yes, welcome back! Keep your eye on the forum postings as I have seen a couple of good deals here.....😎
  10. I like it! Might be a worthy replacement for my FJR......👍
  11. Yes, ANY footpeg option for a Yamaha FJR (and other Yamaha motorcycles) will fit. And most come with the hardware as well. ONLY caution is you have to drill out the oem pin on one side. Do a search on this (excellent) website and it will be explained in detail. This was one of the first things I did on my Tracer and also the FZ-10 I owned before. Well worth the time and a little money!👍
  12. I love my 2019 as well! Get lots of compliments on the grey color! 😎
  13. Way to go PhotoAL! Keep us posted on your adventure!!
  14. I ordered one this morning and when it arrives I will see if you can use both the saddlebags and the Saddleman at the same time. I will report back!
  15. Where were you 5 months ago? (Just kidding!) 😃 I have literally already bought everyone of your for "sale items" for my 2019 Tracer 900 (non GT). GOOD CHOICES! So, free bump and from someone who has researched (and purchased) these same items, great prices! GLWS 👍
  16. Great post Lone Wolf! Thanks for sharing!! 😎
  17. Only as old as you feel.....but I will be part of the 1.49% group later this year! 😩
  18. Yes, WELCOME as well from West Michigan. Nice looking ride you have there with some great mods. I have a 2016 FJR as well as my 2019 Tracer and really love both of them! For pounding big miles the FJR can't be beat, however it is heavy feeling at slow speeds as you know..... My wife visited Ireland with a group a few years back and still talks about the awesome natural beauty there! Again WELCOME!
  19. Sounds like you are definitely leaning towards the Kawi and probably a great choice. I currently have both a '16 FJR and a '19 Tracer and the Tracer isn't anymore upright riding or roomier than my FJR. I have an MCL riser and an older Russell on the FJR and I still put on 6-700 mile days on it ALL the time. Not sure I could do the same on the Tracer, even thou I have a Helibar riser and aftermarket seat on it. The weight difference is very noticeable at slow speeds and pushing both around the garage or driveway the 150# difference is VERY apparent. Just a couple of my observations. And as a point of reference I will be turning 70 in September. I thank the good Lord everyday for my good health! PM me with any specific questions you may have and happy shopping! Best regards, Chuck
  20. Thanks for the write-up! I will be down that way end of September on my FJR and meeting my Texas riding bud, also on an FJR!! Love riding the area, the scenery, the people and the roads are awesome.....
  21. Which can be said about a LOT of things.........😁
  22. The short answer is.......less air. Experiment with the pressure and you will surely find the "sweet spot" I have one on my FJR as well and did multiple 6-800 mile days on an Alaskan trip. Couldn't have done it without my Air Hawk! 😁
