  1. Sure thing! Maybe sometime we can meet up and you can ride my bike and see if you like it or not. The key with the Madstad design is it allows air under the screen to equalize pressure and eliminate turbulence.
  2. The Madstad is amazing and it does just fine in hot weather. I wear a mesh jacket and it allows plenty of air flow. Its calm and quiet and I can be helmet visor up even at 70 plus. Its ugly but it works very very well..
  3. Time for a new chain unfortunately......
  4. Congrats! I purchased a left over 2020 myself last March as well. I am in Northwest, IN (Munster) so Chicago area native as well. Would be cool to to do a meet up some day. I have a Madstad screen on mine and a Seth Laam seat coming in a week or so. Also ordered a black widow exhaust in anticipation of doing an Ivan's Performance ECU flash in September after I complete a 3 day trip with friends. Its a fantastic bike!!
  5. I ride in 90 degree heat with my Madstad and get plenty of airflow through my mesh jacket because the design allows air under the screen, etc.
  6. Everything points to the switch but if it stays in cruise in 6th gear then that would disprove that theory. I would call Ivan and see what he says too....
  7. If your coolant level in the reservoir was high and the bike got really hot, it may expel some through the overflow which is normal. As long as it's not overheating and your oild does not look like chocalate milk you are fine. Ride and enjoy
  8. Great to hear guys! Seth has had my seat about 4 weeks so just waiting for him to call......:)
  9. Yep, lol..I typically use some needle nose pliers to move it a bit.đź‘Ť
  10. Yep..if you look closely, there is a black plastic nut on the barrel of the switch. Turn it counter clockwise a turn or two or until your CC works again. Adjusting your brake pulled the switch plunger to far out I would guess.
  11. That's most likely your issue. Adjust the switch so there is a bit more play.
  12. Amazing pics and that looked like an awesome trip!!
  13. I have had about 7 Bikes in the last two years and I am 56. I completely understand, lol
  14. Boy if that isn't a rip off of the Evotech I don't know what is, lol
  15. Yes, the AVDB - Moto levers are perfect in regrds to the clutch switch. If you read the description they are made for the GT (and MT-10) with Cruise control. I am very happy with mine.
  16. Ear Peace are the only ones I can wear for long periods of time with no discomfort. I like them quite a bit!
  17. Yes thats a given but my evotechs barely...and I mean barely engaged the cruises/clutch switch plunger. It just wasn't right.
  18. I had same issue as you with the evotech levers and ordered the ABDV-Moto Levers from France and they are perfect and engage the switches correctly. https://avdb-moto.fr/shop/en/brake-and-clutch-levers/2137-adjustable-and-folding-clutch-lever-yamaha-mt10-2016-2018.html https://avdb-moto.fr/shop/en/brake-and-clutch-levers/397-3610-short-brake-lever-for-yamaha-fz1-fz6-fz8-mt09-fz-09-mt07-fz-07-xjr-moto-morini-and-moto-guzzi.html#/136-color-black_gold_adjusters
  19. It made a big difference believe it or not. It took any remaining buffeting away and made it even quieter.
  20. This is why I only do Ivan's ECU flashes. He is upfront and his ECU flashes are very very good. He uses his own tuning software and he has access to more stuff inside the ECU. That being said my 2020 GT is very smooth and not twitchy at all fueling wise so unless I decide on an exhaust, it will just stay stock.đź‘Ť
  21. Good to hear as I just literally sent my Stock seat to Seth last week. Seems like a very nice guy. Hope to have it by the end of August but we will see. I look forward to your long distance report. I have a Sargent now and its better then Stock but still not great on a long run. Does the Seth Laam seat take the forward slope out? I certainly looks to have a much larger and wider seating area which is good.
  22. Evotech ...very high quality and no issues, easy install.
