  1. I have had many Sargent seats and I am familiar.....they mostly have been very comfy for me and I pray this one is too, lol
  2. Well there you go! Man if that seat had some firmer foam it would be a keeper though! I broke down and ordered a Sargent....
  3. I am shocked people like the Bagster seats...you all must be light fellars, lol. I took mine off after 10 mins in the saddle as the seat foam is way way too soft for me and it felt like I was sitting on the seat pan!!
  4. Yeah maybe that one is better. The fueling itself was good but the throttle snatch was horrible. The slightest let off had you rapidly decelerating...its a parallel twin thing I am sure. My Tracer GT is smooth as silk in comparison.
  5. Yes, the Madstad comes with the winglets that bolt onto the sides of the main mount. It's very nice.
  6. I would say yes just like everything else including motorcycles themselves, hehe.
  7. I would like to try one but there are none to be found anywhere and who knows when they will be in stock.
  8. LOL...I like the firm seat...I had a bagster and it came off after 10 mins......WAY too soft, hehe
  9. Yeah.....I did the seat slope mod and it helps but I rode 230 miles yesterday and I about halfway through my arse was on fire. I mean I could live it but I would like to find a good option. I am a Sargent fan but the seat for this bike seems hit or miss......
  10. I sold my 2020 Africa twin because of the fueling...my 2020 Tracer GT is like butter compared to it and I ride in A mode all the time!
  11. I did use my stock screen with a Puig medium wind deflector and it took all of the buffetring away but it was still noisy. I am using a Madstad 24" screen with that same deflector now and it is glorious. No ear plugs needed and you can have your visor open at 70 plus MPH. For me that set up with the screen tilted at its furthest back position (55 degrees or so) is amazing.
  12. Enjoy and welcome! Its a great bike and it does everything well! I would plan on figuring out a seat option if planning long rides, lol.
  13. Not necessarily...it can be driven by frequency which is RPM related.
  14. Cogent folks are the best, I have had their suspensions/shocks oin all of my off road (Dual Sport) bikes and I cannot say enough good things about them!!
  15. The whine is actually from a gear driven counterbalancer. Triumph triples have the same sound...
  16. Used bikes prices are through the roof right now...there is no new inventory and its driving used prices way up. Not much you can do about it right now. If it's in really good shape I would offer 7K OTD max. That bike is 6 years old and was like 8500 new, lol
  17. No real objective whine on my 2020 GT. What there is I like. Like above, I have a 2010 Ducati Streetfighter 1098 with a dry cutch. if I put it in nuetral at a light, people immediately look to see when my bike is gonna blow up, lolol.
  18. I am heading up there Saturday and Sunday as well.....hoping for good weather. hehe.
  19. They should make this bike with the triple!!
  20. I live in Northwest IN...riding up Saturday the 12th and staying over night. My buddy is making arrangements and they are leaving Friday and we are meeting them on Saturday. I will be in MN on vacation until Friday, lol. Hopefully no rain!! hotel rooms are hard to find so I think it’s gonna be a decent crowd.
  21. I have to agree...my fronts are usually removed by 7-8 regardless and I am happy to get that!
  22. Yeah that will be worth the price of admission, lol!
  23. How does the front of the Sargent fit on the bike? Would love to see a pic....
