I've been using the Engage tank bag for 3 years now.. its a perfect fit for those few thing I would like to keep a close eye on. I did use a shim to mount it, but thinned the shim down and angled it to suit my needs. Great review by the way.

Is this the right ring? Showing in stock on revzilla. Don't see an engage bag in stock though.

That is the FJ-09 ring. It will make the Engage bag sit higher off your tank and you'll see a gap between the bags bottom side and your tank. If you want it to fit flush with the tank, as original poster photos show, use the ring for the 2014 and up FZ-09. It's also a bit cheaper. link

Sorry for the late reply..  i haven't been on the site in a while.  It is called the Rear Bag by SW Motech..  It was very handy however I  recently upgraded to a Shad trunk...   I really did like that tail bag though.

I like it! but it seems to be more curved on the bottom that I've seen in pics in this thread. I added a piece of rubber shelf liner on top of the hard plastic bottom you must drill, stuck down with double-sided PU foam tape. I used a slightly smaller drill bit than the drill bit provided, and also a smaller drill than suggested for the lock pin. Two of the holes had to be just above the lower rivets in order to have the bag as far rearward as possible. I had to slightly grind the edge of one rivet to enable the screw head to seat flush. The rivets were slightly not symmetrically placed. I very carefully sealed the holes in the bottom nylon fabric with a cigarette lighter to keep them from fraying. I also drilled the hole for the Bimini lock pin I bought on Amazon at the suggestion of another poster to this thread; works like a charm.

Nice when on bike, but considering how little it holds carrying it around seemed a bit bulky due to its odd shape in comparison to givi 602. This looks crap on bike but way nicer to carry about. I went with gs bag as it holds spare fleece or waterproof which also expands, was far more useful, otherwise everything in engage went in jacket pockets anyway. I also use a tiny x1 magnetic bag for those days when I just want a pair of sunglasses handy.

But the Engage does not get in the way of my stomach when I lean into a turn LOL. And with a Shad SH46 top case around town plus the Shad SH36 side cases and a roll-top dry bag across the pillion on trips, a small tank bag is more than adequate. I also have a N-R 3.5L mag mount I used up until the Engage.
