  1. Because I ride in the rain, fog, damp, etc. a lot and in my experience it’s true. The stock signal bracket thingy does practically nothing to keep road spray off the back of the bike or me. We get just as dirty as we did before I replaced it with what in my opinion is a much better looking piece As far as the stitch goes, it’s more fun to get it dirty.
  2. In my experience the stock thing was no better than the eliminator. So I got better looks with the same performance. I ride a lot in the rain. My aerostich likes getting dirty
  3. Ride her year round. You should be able to ride her a couple of times a month at least in Indiana.
  4. Weird, I weigh 250 and have bone stock suspension. I lean the bike pretty close to the edge of the tire and have only ever scraped my boot. Never anything sparky.
  5. No, I haven’t used it. Old Dawg on here has over 200k.
  6. Yes. Bought my 2015 in April of 2016 I got the normal 1 year + 4 years for cheap. My warranty runs out this April. Gertrude will have +105k miles on her ticker. All under warranty.
  7. When I say look on the web I’m talking about buying YES from a Yamaha dealer online. Any Yamaha dealer can sell you the YES. Some will for much cheaper than others. I never purchase insurance expecting to recoup the cost.
  8. Look on the web. You can find it at a better price. Will your bike break? Who knows? It’s a voluntary insurance policy.
  9. I did about 200 miles through my back yard (the hills of SE TN). It’s the first chance I’ve had in a few weeks. The sun was shining. It was glorious.
  10. Buy the used bike and use the money you save to do more 5 day trips..
  11. I can’t read your post. The text is all in a white background.
  12. I’ve ridden most of CA1 in that area. It’s a beautiful ride.
  13. That has caused me to reroute Odyssey 2021. Oh well, there’s always next year.
  14. No, the windshield is different. There may be a similar mount for the 20.
  15. There’s no mileage limitation on the YES. Also, the FJ/Tracer isn’t “”cheap”. It’s a machine that gives you more bang for your buck.
  16. Also, since their attached to the upper fork legs wouldn't that be sprung weight?
  17. My bike has 100K miles on the clock. Its rattled for as long as i can remember. I don't pay attention to it.
  18. Their a flood pattern and have done what I want them to do for 4+ years now.
