  1. The only 90/10 tires i could find in the right size are the pirelli's i got, bridgestone ae41 and continental trail attack 3. The 17inch front is the limiting factory.
  2. Possibly, im also a type and send while talking to ppl around me person. So words go to the wrong conversation alot
  3. N+1 formula is the one I use for alot of stuff. I have 6 motorcycles. Will be getting ride of a few though
  4. I did NOT install my new tires. Called friday asking the shop about them. They were waiting for the angled vavle stems(supplied is on back order, covid19). Told them I needed them back. Doing 120mile commute right now(covid19 as well). I wasn't available to pick them up Saturday. So I sent the wife. They didn't give the wife my crush drive or my front tire back. So I have to wait till Monday after work to get them. Pissed. I spent extra money at a dealership to have them change the tires instead my self and it was a hassle. First service work I have had there. Only ordered parts before. And they show up in 1-2 days and same price as online. So probably wont do service there again Pirelli scorpion trail II Daughter walked in on the shot and got her shadow.
  5. I was going to order tires this week. I had planned on commuting this coming week though. Im at 8400 miles on stock tires. Not much left they hit the wear bars this week comuting. Doing 120 miles in a day.
  6. Well my ride down to brown county and meet the wife at the inlaws to pick up the daughter didnt go a planed. About 30 miles from the house. On the interstate heard a pop and all of the sudden the bike got wallowey. Pulled over and discovered this. Wife had stopped for gas and was a few mins behind me. She saw me and had to turn around to get me. So we are now heading back to the house to get my truck. Fun day
  7. Hand washed her for the first time. Usually just pressure wash. And clean and lubed the chain. The wind screen was so full of bugs I couldnt see through it. Lol
  8. Rode down to Dugger, Indiana. Been coming down here since 2004. But haven't been since warm weather in 2009 with my dad. This is the Brycus Erie 2570 walker. It is the 3rd largest dragline evermade. Look at the hand railing. It is 4ft tall. Watching something so large and the land scape around it change over time is quit the humbling experience.
  9. So I have always gotten good life out of my tires. Running higher psi, and cold. I got 12000 miles out of pirelli gt rear on my cbr in 2009. Riding in the cold and now gravel alot prolongs life. Was supposed to be at the dragon this weekend. So I went for a short ride today. Finally close to 8000 miles still on stock tires. Picking up my kid after work and not riding under 40°f now has cut my mileage to 1/4 what it was. Close to the wear bars, but not there yet.
  10. cheap set from cycle gear. Installed them in Knoxville Tennessee next to the front door of cycle gear on the way home to indiana.
  11. Rained till 1pm today, 3 day weekend. Rode to physical therapy and back. Gravel roads are sloppy today.
  12. Tonight met the wife and daughter at chik-fil-a. A ballon guy was set up for the kids. Definitely only bike out in low 50s in February in north central indiana on a Tuesday. Came out to this. A ballon engagement ring on my highway bars. Haha. Gave it to my daughter. She already had a ballon butterfly and the wife said she squealed all the way home with both of them.
  13. Yeah shocked. Shocked Bmw would chase any one. They have always usally been in the fore front of most trends. And here in the states there are plenty of left overs. Its not the "in demand" bike. The usa is the second largest market for bikes over 300cc. And in some bigger bike segments number 1
  14. Watched it a few days ago. Was kinda shocked when they said they were after the tracer.
  15. https://www.anker.com/es/products/variant/soundbuds-rise-wireless-inear-headphones/A3271011 Been using these for a year now. They are left hand control, so you can keep your hand on the throttle. I wear the at work now too. The buttons aren't that big. I wear gloves at work and dont have an issue. Walmart and bestbuy has them for $40 in store.
  16. Its different every time. Some times I end parking on a hill, incline or something not ideal. I will mount from either side, use either leg or step on peg just depends on where I am at. When I have a ton of shit on the back seat I will throw my leg up and slide over before being on the peg. I usually only have it on the center stand at the house to make it easier to walk around in the garage since it is so tall compared to my other bikes. I dont like starting from the center stand. I my garage it just slides around on the center stand. I have to use both feet to push and with them being behind me I wouldn't be able recover in time if something happened in front of me. In the pic below I lifted my left leg over the seat and mounted from opposite the kick stand. I was parked on an Incline and I had stuff on the seat.
  17. With my second child on the way, I only got time for two 4 day weekends this year. So one bike and one kayak fishing trip. Probably the dragon since I have family close for free lodging. And I can travel light with out camping gear.
  18. I live on gravel roads. 40mph to 45mph on straits in 3rd or 4th gear, "b" mode. 1st and 10mph on corners. Still runing stock tires. My roads sucks, I'm on a county line with the county seats on opssite ends of where I'm from. So my roads dont get much attention. The county im in uses large white rock and it isnt as nice as the county im just out of. What he says. The pic is my road the day I brought her home. You can see the new white rock in the back ground on the road and the washboard in the older. The wooden fence is the edge of my property. I have a few miles of gravel every time I get on the FJ
  19. Yes. The main visor never fogs. I guess I should have been more specific. The internal shaded drop drown visor fogs when behind a big windshield. I need to get some paste version of catcrap. The liquid spray version froze a couple times and doesn't work well anymore. Probably solve my issues.
  20. Got a gt-air this year to replace my old shoei. With the no screen in the summer its great. But with the givi touring screen for winter the fog vent doesn't get air and the internal visor and my safety glass will fog up. So i have to stand or move my head to the side to get air. It is quiet though.
  21. Probably close to a rekcluse style, where you dont need to work the lever to stop or start.
  22. Yeah any MV is like any Ferrari before 2010. Beautiful to look at sounds great the 15% of the time it works
