  1. Are you riding like a bat out of hell? I can't seem to get less than 40 mpg no matter how hard/fast I ride, and the onboard mileage computations are pretty damn accurate from what I've been seeing.
  2. Yup gear oil has a strong scent, give the Dupont chain saver lube a try......best I have used for any of the lubes, and I have pretty much tried them all over the years.
  3. I can ride plenty aggressively, and so far I have yet to dip below 40 MPG, matter of fact this Tracer gets gas mileage on par overall that my V-Strom 650 did. But yeah I agree that between 150/175 I will typically fill up.
  4. I'll get an electric motorcycle were I to want that......I wanna hear this beautiful C3 engine!!!
  5. When the time comes, I'm thinking will go with the Scorpion slip on.
  6. They are stupid expensive too, but may just pull the trigger on some eventually.
  7. Still waiting on mine to fail......I'll keep waiting.
  8. Not my Darien jacket, but yes my AD1 pants are.....hey it's not CHINA so I'm totally fine with that.
  9. Do they also function as running lights as well?
  10. I'm typically jamming some Metallica, Gojira, Megadeth, or Testament in the technical stuff!! LOL
  11. Not a fan of Dunlops, please be sure to update us on these new tires.
  12. Great riding to be had in Ohio as well, and you also have KY and MZ nearby for you too. I need to ride approx 30 minutes to start hitting the fun stuff, that's actually quite typical for most of us suburbinites.
  13. Head to Brown county IN.....plenty of amazing twisty roads.
  14. I don't feel that at all, especially comparing to ANYTHING that is off the rack. KLIM and Stich both are Gore-Tex, but Stich is less expensive and the major advantage is personal factory repairs and alterations. I love my Stich gear, have the Darien light jacket and the AD1 britches.
  15. IMHO the new F900XR doesn't impress me at all, the GT would eat it alive in so many categories.
  16. Yup and nothing out there is more expensive either, even with the quality going down and other flaws.
  17. Triumph still doesn't have electronics sorted out, pretty much like all Euro bikes. I really wanted a Multistrada S before I bought my GT, loved most things about it except for being a Ducati and all that goes along with owning one. LOL
  18. Fit and finish looks very good, agree it looks even better in the vid than any pics I've seen.
  19. It will be a big seller for them, you want premium features you pay a somewhat premium price. I get that many of you seem to be stuck in your old school mindset, if that's the case just enjoy the current Tracer you have. Change is never going to appease the masses, but in time the masses seem to come around. I can't find anything about this new design I don't like, I believe overall Yamaha has put alot of thought and feedback into this new design. If you like bike models that don't change much from year after year.....get a Harley.
  20. Nothing but YUASA for me now, have gone much cheaper in the past on several bikes and nothing from my experience lasts as long as the YUASA's have.
  21. Meh have no desire to own that BMW, it's faster and perhaps handles better overall.......but there are always other trade offs. I almost pulled the trigger on a 16 Multistrada S before buying my GT, but my head thankfully overtook my heartstrings.
