You Euros don't ride much?

Here we can do 9,400 miles in 2 or 3 months.

Guess it's your tiny countries.

😁

It’s been 6 weekend since I got my Tracer 900 GT and already 6000km more on it. And that’s with only one longer 3 days 1700km trip. The rest is local riding here in GTA Ontario.

  • 2 weeks later...

I picked up mine last Saturday. I love him already. What a nice bike. All feels new, little bit strange.

Hopefully the weather will be fine so i can make the first 1000km.

Here is a picture of old and new.

Congratulations!

I for one am eager to hear of your impressions (after some ride time) of how the new beast differs from the old one.  Especially what things are significantly different in both good and bad (if any) ways.

Enjoy the new ride. 👍

For what i can say after 100km..... I love the CC. This works like a charm and is a nice feature for.long rides.

The sound is a little bit more raw/louder.

I don't know what to think of the T32 tires yet. Always had Continentals.

Dashboard is very nice, a lot of information, all you need to know.

Hopefully this i can put on more km this week.

Picked up my GT+ last Saterday as well 😊. First 400 km under the belt. Engine and gearbox need to loosen up some, but is expected.

ACC works like a charm, very handsom on highway parts.

Have to get used to all connectivity of the dashboard, but who is waiting for telephone calls and WhatsApp messages while driving?

Better sound that the 900, deeper rumble but not loud which I like.
Windscreen needs an upgrade with a spoiler on top to keep me out of the wind, but standard windscreen is a bit too flexible to keep it steady. Will need a compleet exchange of screen and spoiler. All in due time.

Only need for a good GPS mount. Interim solution is a ramball on the handlebar.

You did already 400km?? Overhere the weather sucked over the weekend so between showers i did only 100km.

I need to look for an mount for my phone aswell. The GT did not have an USB connection on board, so i ordered the optional one from Yamaha.

During the week i will take her out for a drive. Maybe later on tonight, just to make the 1000km.😁

Even in a small country like ours, the west was wet, the east almost dry 😀
So got 2 rides in.
Next week will be difficult, as we are away a few days, small holiday (without the bike 😢).

Today i took Tracy for a trip again. Every time it is a joy.

I am starting to get used to her, and it is getting better and better every time.

Yesterday i added the Yamaha OEM usb chargeport in the dedicated bracket

Still in doubt to add the GIVI mudguard at the rear wheel.

This one doesn't fit, if you select the 2023 Tracer 9GT. The one GIVI has, is around 180€ for both the bracket and the mudguard.

I will order one, it stops a lot of spray, so the bike doesn't get so dirty.

Prio one for now is a decent bracket for a phone/navigation. Still in doubt for a ram mount like bracket like This one or something like This.

Anyone suggestions on which one to choose?

Your first link is -900, so not -9.

And be aware that the 2023 -9 has a changed windshield attachment. Read somewhere on this forum that it changed the length of the adjuster, lower or higher, don’t remember. So I am a bit carefull when ordering something that is using those bolts as attachment point.

According to the website of Cosmo, it should fit the 2023 9 GT. @SVincent was talking about the changed windshield adjuster. As i understand, the mounting points of the windshield are still the same, only the length of the upper part is changed.

That is the reason for asking..... Maybe someone here has mounted the ram like mount on a 2023 9 GT.

Sorry about the link, you are right. My eyes are getting old 😵.

And the larger adjuster just makes my -900 ram mount incompatible. So looking for something new as well.  The Cosmo parts are an alternative.

The amazon part is shown with the short adjuster. Not sure if it works on the 2023. So if anyone has experience with this, pictures please.
