pcarnut
Thanks, that's what I was concerned about. I'm thinking it might be worth going to the Yamaha factory versions that yamabits sets via England. SoCal 2015 FJ-09 Red of course

Premium Member martyl Posted September 25, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 25, 2016 When I bought my FJ09 I thought,"Why would I need heated grips in Florida?" Well last December very early on the a.m. I learned the hard way as it was cold to my Florida hands... So... Since there seemed to be Back log of people ordering them, I waited till this past summer to order mine. I got them quickly. I'll let you know how they work out this December...;-) A Motorcyclist's Church is the open road....
Premium Member Trambo Posted September 25, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 25, 2016 I completely agree, they are worth every penny when the temps start to drop. 2015 Stealth Grey FJ-09 Pilot Base of Operations: Chesterfield, VA Farkels? Premium Member Trambo Posted September 28, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 28, 2016 Speaking of cold temps on their way, I reattached the "donkey ears" handguards tonight. Keeping the cold air off my hands will help the heated grips keep my arthritic fingers happy in the coming winter months. 2015 Stealth Grey FJ-09 Pilot Base of Operations: Chesterfield, VA Farkels? Premium Member Trambo Posted October 1, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted October 1, 2016 My Chinese CNC levers finally arrived today, so I installed them & took a quickie test ride to confirm: I love 'em. No idea why but the FJ feels like it brakes SO much better now, and I love the adjustablity they give me. Best 20 bucks I have spent so far on mods. edit- adding pic 2015 Stealth Grey FJ-09 Pilot Base of Operations: Chesterfield, VA Farkels? Lots, nothing flashy, but all functional...
