  6. Nope, always tour with panniers and top box. No issues so far.
  7. @PhotoAl Beauty is always worth sharing 🤣😂🤣
  8. Life is too short to worry about stuff like this, just buy whatever makes you happiest at the time, when it no longer does, sell it and buy the next one. Simple 🙂 P.S. In reality I have the same issue, both with bikes, guns and hammock camping gear 🙂
  9. Hola All, As I've said in many, many, previous posts I'm not at all mechanial/ technical so please excuse what may be to you a stupid topic/ question..... I have a 2018 GT900 with the stock exhaust (bloody love this bike), I've got to the stage where I miss a decent exhaust note, but even more I miss the sound of popping and farting on the over-run. So I'm going to get an aftermarket exhaust and a re-map. I'd like to have a popping and farting bike again, so my related questions for the Members of This Parish are.... I've heard tell of something called AIS, in layman's terms what does it do? I know some people 'turn off' the AIS, what effect does this have? Will it make a difference to the pop & fart I'm after? Are there any impacts of switching off/on? I'm keen to keep the exhaust 'street legal' here in the UK, so will usually run it with the baffle in (usually), will that impact the popping & farting ability? Is there anything in the re-map which I can ask for to help get the P&F I'm after? What does the O2 sensor do? (I think I can guess from the name 🙂 ) but does that have an impact of the P&F? Thanks in advance for any help/ knowledge on what might seem to some to be a shallow need to have a better sounding GT. Cheers, have a great day. Steve
  10. A few snaps from this week's motocamping trip.... https://flic.kr/s/aHsmW7NsBq
  11. I put the MRA sports screen on, does the job nicely.
  12. I live in England, we don't have heat here that's how I cope with it (although the rain occasionally gets warm) 😂😂🤣
  13. @draco_1967 many thanks, I downloaded the zipfile last night and sent it over to my friend who has a 3D printer. Cheers Steve
  14. For those of us who don't 3D Print (but know someone who does) how/ where can we get the stl without having to sign up to a file sharing or 3D printing site? Your bracket looks fantastic so would like to get one printed for myself. Many thanks Steve
  15. I joined the Elite group of riders with superb good taste and sartorial elegance and fitted a beak 🤣😂🤣
  16. @Wintersdark thanks for that, slightly different than I had imagined, I was anticipating the oil resevoir would be mounted on the rear fottpeg hanger somehow. Thanks for sharing that gives me a template to work from. Cheers Steve
  17. @WintersdarkI used to have a Tutoro on a previous bike, wondered how you have mounted/ routed yours on the Tracer, could you possibly put up some pics showing how you've done it please so that I can copy it? Many Thanks Steve
  18. Ok following a late night, some alcohol and the internet I ordered a beak (May God have mercy upon my soul) 🙂 It has been sitting in my garage for a good 5 weeks now and the nagging voices in my head have finally worn me down and I prepared to fit it. However, as expected from the cheap chinese eBay version there are no fitting instructions, so I'm asking how others have fitted the beak. Clearly the bolt and metal replacement slide on fairing bracket are used to fit the rear part of the beak. But then there is a clear plastic washer, a silver (plastic?) spacer and a rubber spacer/ washer which could be used in all manner of combinations and in either the front or rear holes of the beak. Any one know of 'the offical' method or can describe how/ where they used the various fittings to fit their beaks? I'm fitting to a 2018 GT900 if that makes any difference. Many Thanks in advance Steve (I can always take it off gain if/ when the madness passes)
  19. @duckie great, what's the next challenge then?
  20. 1) Can't comment, I don't need risers 2) Get some FJR footpegs 3) Impossible, any box that big is going to look out of proportion with the bike (I use a Givi 46ltr and it looks pants but I can fit a helmet and jacket in it if I need to) a smaller box looks good but won't fit a jacket and helmet (I use a Givi Trekker Outback in these circumstances)
