  3. The rear of the drilling template is 31mm from the rear of the recess of the bag Rear holes are drilled 52mm from the rear of the recess
  4. @NormR I love this bag, here's how it sits on my bike, when you do install the bag it's a good idea to leave the supplied template on the bottom of the bag and fix the mounting plate to it. Otherwise you may find the bag sits a tad low and you have to fiddle around to get it to lock easily. See the discussiopn part way through this thread..... I'll whip the bag off the bike and get some pics with measuremens for you shortly
  5. Cleaned Her to within an inch of Her life ready for acf50 application tomorrow.
  6. I actually like the look of the bike, but not the panniers (not that I can afford or need to get another one)
  7. @Heli ATP Oh $hit, now you've done it! That 'colour coded' beak actually looks good, I can feel myself slipping closer to The Dark Side. I'm going to resist Google searching for the Phantom Blue paint code! Must Stay Strong 🙂 Cheers Steve
  8. @Rick123 Please keep us updated on the heed bags, have heard some complaints that they aren't water resistant etc. Would be interested to know how they perform. Cheers Steve
  9. @Alisia welcome to the forum, the bike looks great have a great time on her. As other have said get the FJR panniers for preference and if you aren't keen on a top box perhaps consider some soft luggage on the rear carrier (if security isnlt an issue). I use Lomo dry bags or the excellent (but pricy) Kriega bags which are sooo versatile. Stay Safe Steve
  10. @Etrinks I have the clear Puig touring screen with 'adjustable lip' looks awful (IMO) but does the job of curing the terrible buffeting from the oem screen.
  11. No, it's not the angle, you can fit several small children in it 🤣😁😂 and a small car, an elephant and a Schuberth helmet
  12. Took her out for a wet and windy ride, still loved every minute of it! (and enjoyed the bacon bap even more because of the bad weather) 🙂
  13. Silver top and bottom gets my vote, looks great
  14. Fitted the Denali Soundbomb Mini horn. Noticable difference, well worth the price, simple plug and play, easy to fit, highly recommended.
  15. Most end up changing the oem screen, some the seat, and the footpegs. Enjoy your bike, I hope the weather stays fine so that you can enjoy her.
  16. @HGP61 Sounds like a great ride, slightly worried that you are taking pictures of the rear end of sheep 😆
  17. @DavidS I haven't had to remove the side [panels since I fitted the bars, so I can't answer the question. I have unfortunatley #tested' the crash bars (low speed drop on the right hand side. No damage to the bike only grazed the crash bars and he rear number plate. So they work fine.
  18. I chose the Heed bars over the Givi bars, the Givi ones look better but the Heed ones give more coverage/ protection (IMO). Either will protect your bike just fine. Cheers Steve
  19. @PowerMalc Welcome back to the motorcycling family and welcome to the forum, the bike looks great. I'm sure that you'll have great fun with it and nice to see another UK rider joining the Forum. Cheers Steve
  20. @ucwinters enjoy your new bike, I also fitted the Heed crashbars and are really pleased with them.
  21. Yeah Super Sausage used to be great, but has gine down hill in the last couple of years. I stil like The cafe at Old Warden Shuttleworth Collection or Jordans Mill (slightly expensive but top quality)
  22. Welcome Andy, great to see another UK rider joining the forum. Enjoy your new bike (once you've changed the awful oem screen that is 😆) Cheers Steve
  23. I'm inbetween Hitchin and Luton, so I'm sure your wife will know the area. I still see MK as firmly in the "Thar be Dragons" section of the map 😄😆
